All Tampon Charlie wanted was his surrogate mummy Camilla, and he never, ever let go of his crumpet Cami. Diana wasn't perfect, no one is - but all she wanted (like all of us want), was to be loved. And as for the men, why aren't they ever castigated? They all wanted the prestige and excitement of being with a Princess, they could've said 'no' and be true to their wives, but they weren't. Everyone wanted a piece of Diana, the media, the public, the government - but the Royals took the very best of her and never, ever valued nor honoured her and hung her out to dry. While the mistress is now secretly gloating as Queen Consort. Diana was supposed to fly back to England that morning. She cancelled her flight. They changed cars and drivers,etc. Anyone wanting to kill her had weeks to do it. Why wait until that night? Her "psychic" told her it would be in her car and the brakes would be cut. That is not what happened. Martin Bashir's lies only increased her paranoia. Why did she not spend some of her divorce settlement on her personal security instead of trusting the Al-Fayeds? Diana died because she put her trust in the wrong people.

❤🎉🎉❤. I was in the UK before Covid hit and I read a few times that Diana had a great admiration for Jackie Kennedy Onassis. In 1994 before Mrs Onassis passed away she was asked about her thoughts on Diana and Mrs Onassis supposedly said "I don't like how she is handling the royal family". Although Diana greatly admired Jackie the feeling doesn't seem mutual. These two women could not have been any more different. Maybe it's because each marriage is different. Jackie was deeply in love with JFK ( even though he was a heavy womanizer) and constantly build JFK even to the point of stretching or exaggerating about JFK. She truly adored him and doted and idolized her husband. Jackie Kennedy put up with a lot of unnecessary nonsense from JFK. And her in laws. The most important thing to Jackie was privacy - this was not Diana. Diana loathed Charles and needed attention and drama. And "things" were very tight and never leaked out from Mrs Onassis office. This is something that Diana could have learned from her idol. These two women had similar problems but HANDLED them very differently. Jack and Jackie would never have divorced although Jackie did threaten it quietly from time to time and old Joe Kennedy supposedly paid Jackie to stay with JFK because of his election. Jackie held the country together when JFK was killed. Could Diana have done this? Jackie lit the eternal flame. Diana would have extinguished it for Charles in two seconds. Again each marriage is different but Diana could have learned a lot from her "idol" had she chose privacy and devotion. Jackie Bouvier married for love. Diana married just for a title...
