The movie is about the boy. His mother has died. He is filled with grief over his loss. The boy's father is unable to care for him, due to his own grief. So, the boy is sent to his grandfather for a fishing adventure. This might provide a distraction. Unfortunately, the truck breaks down and a snowstorm comes in. The two become separated. The boy wanders around and becomes tired. He then falls asleep on the ice. This would lead to his death from hypothermia. This is when the video begins. The Spirit of the Lake finds him. She wakes him up and forces him to move. Movement equals warmth. She pushes him to the safety of his grandfather; whereupon they are rescued by the father. Along the way, the spirit counsels the boy toward overcoming his grief and to finding his own inner spirit. The experience also helps the father to move on with his life.

Diana is 20 years old right now and she does her own backing vocals. This is not the story of the Sirens, Diana plays the role of the spirit of the lake Baikal here. This is the original soundtrack of the movie "The spirit of Baikal", the movie is about a boy that his mother passed away and he is overcome with grief, his father brings the boy to his grandfather who lives at the shores of the lake so that they can go for ice fishing in hopes that the boy would be distracted for a while. Unfortunately a snow storm separates them and the boy ends up sleeping on the frozen lake, the spirit of the lake takes the form of his mother, wakes him up so that he wont freeze to death and guides him to safety. She also supports him mentaly by saying that those that we lost will forever be inside us so we should continue with our lives and not be stuck in the past with phantoms chasing after us. First time hearing this song, so thank you! Also, her voice is amazing - It sounds almost like Olga from NeAngeli, at least in their song 'Tvoya'. Baikal Lake is also a beautiful place, and I was born very near to it. The Northern Lights are not to be missed, especially when the lake is frozen over, and you can lay on the ice and just skywatch all night. I miss Siberia, but Denmark is my home now. =)

Прозрачный лед, немыслимые зимние причудливые пейзажи ....Байкальский ветер -главная особенность местного климата. с которым надо считаться.Случается, что иногда в привычный зимний морозный день даже небольшой зимний морозец способен превратиться в убийственную холодину..Казалось бы, стояло морозное спокойное утро и вдруг..внезапно налетел ветер..Да, такова природа Байкала.... а потому, все рыбаки и туристы благодарят Байкал за то, что он НЕ принес им беды...Такова традиция... многие туристы об этом осведомлены. ЗИМА не шутки!...Так случилось с этим мальчишкой и его дедом...Пошли на рыбалку. налетел внезапно Байкальский ветер, вьюга ,снег и мальчик потерялся...Мальчишка мог замерзнуть и погибнуть... На какие силы надеется бедному ребенку? Существует поверье, что духи предков, а в данном случае матери, помогут ребенку выжить. Ребенок невинное дитя. Могу лишь добавить,Диана сама снималась под водой . Ей было трудно, потому что у неё боязнь к воде,потому что ее биологическая мать топила в воде( сама Диана это говорила,при чём помнит это хорошо ), но смогла преодолеть свой страх. Платье в которм она снималась в клипе весит 30-40 килограммов. Клип снимался под водой более 10 часов. Идея клипа и его воспроизведение это заслуга Михаила главного режиссера. Он сам находился с Дианой под водой и снимал. Сказал ,что для него это было очень тяжело,но Диана на физическую усталость вообще не обращала внимания,потому ,что была полностью поглощена процессом клипа
