Hello Jesse, thank you for your fine reaction. Diana was 18 years old. She turned 19 earlier this week. Congratulations on this way, Diana. You used some unusual words to describe Diana. But they are still very appropriate and describe what is special about Diana very well. Diana has a very rare voice. She is a contralto and she is also polyphonic, which means she can produce several tones at the same time. Diana's background: Diana was born on May 31, 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She was severely abused as a small child and abandoned on the street by her birth mother in winter when she was only 3 years old with a broken collarbone. She was then taken to an orphanage where, after more than one year, she was adopted by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist. At the age of four and a half, Diana still could not speak properly. She also stuttered. Experts recommended that she take singing lessons to improve her general speaking and vocal skills. This was a new TV show in Russia. There are 9 weeks with 9 shows and 9 well known artists. Diana is the youngest artist. They had to sing songs from 9 genres. The last TV show was on 20. November 2021. The 9 artists are also the judges for the other singer. And Diana (18 yo) won the overall competition of which Diana won 4 and took 2nd place once. She shocked the other singers with the first song. The Crow was her masterpiece in this competition, in my opinion. The judge who stands up is the great opera singer Yusif Eyvazov and the husband of Anna Netrebko, who is world famous. She won this competition. She came onto the world stage when she was 14 in a Russian talent show sponsored by the Russian Governments. "Queen of Goosebumps" strikes again. 18 here. 15+ for Wicked Game, Human, Derniere Danse, Blizzard, Tomorrow Is A Lie, +++. 14 for Rechenka, a composite of Russian folk tales about an orphan girl who is being given away to the unloved, and goes to the river, border between the living and the dead, to ask blessings from her deceased mother. Even more poignant considering Diana's backstory. But that was then and this is now - she is not only a survivor because of her adoptive (real) family, she is victorious. Great rxn. The "Prodigy Trifecta" of Dimash, Diana, and Angelina are blowing your mind, and it's fun to watch. Been there. Still am. Subbed.

She was given so many problems, yet somehow came out this amazing human and seemingly really happy. Sure she has her demons from her past. But super happy her talents found the stage and she is able to follow her dreams. Aweful backstories make for some beautiful tales every noe and then.. at this point we’re only scratching the surface with some of these talents. Musically we got a great future ahead.

This show had an interesting concept. There were nine artists. They were required to perform songs in nine different categories. The show ran for nine weeks. When the artist wasn't performing, s/he sat as one of the judges. Additionally there was one guest judge each week. By the scoring system of nine points to one point, there was a winner of each episode. Then, after the nine weeks, there was a winner declared by the total number of points earned over time. It was pretty interesting to watch them squirm, as they judged each other. I mean, how do you tell the person, sitting next to you, that you thought that they did a bad job? Or, how do you tell him that you tell him that he did a great job but you get my lowest score?

Greetings from Scotland! This is 18yo Diana, she is the most unique, most impressive dramatic contralto (with polyphonic overtones) you will ever hear, now or in the future! WHY? Because Diana was gifted with a spectacular larynx and pharynx at birth. On top of that she has worked tirelessly to continually improve. Placed in an orphanage with a broken collarbone at 3yo after her birth mum tried to drown her, abandoning her in a street in winter. Her new family adopted her at nearly 5yo and she could barely speak, so took her to a speech therapist who advised she took singing lessons - 1 year later at 6yo she was doing solo performances on stage! Since then Diana has worked/sung everywhere she could. Look what that little abandoned girl has grown into now! In my opinion, the greatest singer the world has ever heard! She is a very rare female contralto (like Cher). She was beaten and abused as a child by her mum who then left her in a bus station as a toddler with a broken shoulder. She then lived in an state orphanage and stuttered badly. A very kind worker adopted Diana, got her singing lessons and look at her now !!!!

What I love here- outside of Diana's voice, of course- is that this was the first episode of the series (there were 9) and you can see that every other judge knows they have lost. There is no chance they can beat her. The woman in red is Yulia Parshuto, who is a pretty good singer herself, and the man who stood is Yusef Iwazov, who is the husband of world-class opera singer Anna Netrebko. Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. Неделю назад ей исполнилось 19 лет. Обязательно послушай песню "Ворона" на том же шоу. А также рекомендую посмотреть её клип "В небо" и песню "Реченька" на шоу "Ты супер". На том шоу были и песни на английском языке. Тогда ей было 14-15 лет, но уровень её исполнения зашкаливал и тогда. Есть много видео с её выступлениями в 10-13 лет.

Hi thanks for your reaction to Diana. Diana is actually 18 years old in this video. Diana is a very very rare contralto which is the lowest form of the female singing voice but she has an extended range and the ability to sand with polyphonic overtones. I think maybe the word that you were looking for might be describing her voice, haunting or epic. And I agree she would make a fantastic, Bond girl. If she were to perform this as the theme song for a James Bond movie.

"Showmaskgoon" (season 1,2021) is an original Show that has no foreign analogues, such as "Voice", etc. The project was attended by favorite participants of popular projects of the Russian TV channel NTV - "Mask", "You're Super!" and "Superstar!". The project of the TV channel was created using augmented reality technology - Extended Reality (XR). The participants of "Showmaskgoon" evaluated and commented on the performances themselves. In the final of each program, they gave each other scores from 2 to 9 points. Also in each room there was a guest artist with the right to vote, in this room as a guest opera singer - Yusif Aivazov. The contestants were offered a choice of 9 themes: pop hit, folk song, modern hit and so on. The winner of the first season of the show was Diana Ankudinova, who performed the Depeche Mode song "Personal Jesus" in the finale.
