Diana returns as the Ermine with this incredible almost Operatic performance, i love the combination of the classical bass voice of Ildar and the unique fairy tale like Contralto voice of Diana, it shows once again that her immense talent has no limits and if the time comes for her to delve in to Opera she will be up there with the best of the best. With this upload i would like to say a few things so please be patient with me. First: Well as we expected it finally happened the video got copyrighted so we can no longer have it with good quality. Since many people did not like the blurred format i made with the previous Diana's performances on this show i tried something different this time so i can still keep the aspect ratio to 1920 x 1080 and not blur anything, i just made it transparent. It is sad that we lost all your wonderful comments. Please give me your feedback, if you do not agree with this i will keep experimenting but this is the best i can do right now. Second: This channel is not monetized you do not have to subscribe, If Diana or any original source uploads this performance i will delete this video. I did not want to do this because i find it irrelevant but some also suggested to me to become a music blogger or even to become a "legal representative" of Diana and since i could not explain myself correctly for the reason that all my comments on the subject got deleted by You tube i will say a few things here. I am from Greece, i am 36 years old and i have a full time job as a captain in commercial navy. What do i know about music? I know how to play classical piano, growing up i learned from my mother who played the piano in the national Orchestra (retired). I have good ear for music/vocals/singing because of my mother's teachings and my upbringing, i spent quite a lot of time growing up listening to Opera and a huge variety of music and it still occupies a huge part of my life. I am away from my home 8 months a year working and traveling around the world so as you understand it is impossible for me to organize anything for Diana or to become something more than a simple fan. I started You tube on my free time only because i wanted people from all over the world to Know everything about this INCREDIBLE once in several lifetimes artist that had the misfortune of her career to be shadowed by politics and i could not stand that at all. I probably will never start blogging/reacting or whatever of this nature for two reasons, firstly i do not have the free time to do something like that and secondly i believe that you must have a certain talent/charisma to go in front of people and talk, you must be entertaining and i believe that i lack such a talent. - Диана возвращается в роли Горностая с этим невероятным, почти оперным исполнением. Я запустил You Tube в свободное время только потому, что хотел, чтобы люди со всего мира знали все об этой НЕВЕРОЯТНОЙ художнице, которая бывает раз в нескольких жизнях, у которой было несчастье в ее карьере быть омраченной политикой, и я вообще не мог этого вынести. А мне повезло - 8 ноября я иду на концерт Ильдара Абдразакова! 24 октября я была на концерте, слушала московских скрипачей, которым дирижировал Юрий Башмет. А ещё чуть раньше смотрела балет "Ромео и Джульетта". У меня такая счастливая, незабываемая осень. 😊 Дуэт Дианы и Ильдара - слушала и сердце замирало от красоты их голосов, реально мурашки по коже. Months after discovering Diana Ankudinova, my brain still can not comprehend either her voice or her personality. You hear the voice and the brain glitches (in most of her songs, though not so much her pop ones) especially here. Then you watch her on stage then later see her speaking as a sincere and goofy post teenage person, and again the brain is confused. She wants popularity yet will do it on her own terms “my locks will not break” she says to Sobchak willing to break her back and work hard swimming though obstacles and hatred thrown at her and again the brain is confused. So easy it would be to give in to the norms of show business, yet she refuses, having experienced that world enough to know what she is willing to put up with. She speaks honestly (at her own peril in the shark infested waters of showbusiness) knowing hate will come at her, yet whoever she is speaking to falls under her charm. That same Sobchak, though provocative (she too has a job to do and it is to provoke) was ultimately gentle with her, listening attentively. That steel rod Diana has in her back that doesn’t allow her to bend, firmly present allowing her freedom to be honest yet putting everyone under her spell, again the brain is confused. Every single interviewer or streamer is taken in when she appears , yet there are blockages to this young girl with such gifts, again the brain is confused. How can you match an opera bass and do pop and r&b successfully? How can you sing deep poems with meaning, bringing people to tears and then just vocalise with some 18 year old pop singer? What is this? The girl it seems to me understands the confusion she causes people....and the world of show business. She knows there has never been one like her, in voice and in being...so she will go at it alone, confusing us on her way, though she doesn’t seem confused herself. As I now live in India where the belief in astrological charts is strong (and the remedies for certain things), it would be interesting to see what hers says...though from experiencing her for the last few months, I dare say her chart would probably end up confusing the astrologer, no matter how brilliant he may be

The confusion I think will never dissipate but the respect will only continue to grow endlessly I think. I as a fully grown adult (and really Diana is just on the cusp of adulthood despite her lived experiences) know it is much harder to say no to things in life than to say yes. Yet, she has my utmost respect for having learned this many years ago, despite having gifts that far outweigh any given to the rest of us. So her no is all the more poignant. One thing I do hope for though is that she will soon be able to interact more in English, give interviews or whatever so that us non Russian speaking folk can experience her personality more. This too I do think she is going at her own pace so we wait and enjoy her singing voice until then (and maybe a bit of auto translate with it’s holes and weird translations along the way)

I agree wholeheartedly. Though I will put myself out there and say that once she has graduated and finished her studies, I think this producer situation will change....in the way that Diana wants it, meaning with her freedom and independence intact with a triAl/short contract periods to test.I asked a fan of hers the other day who was frustrated that she hasn’t signed with a producer, to name me a single world wide famous vocalist who was discovered very young, signed with a producer and who didn’t go off the rails emotionally, mentally and physically and whose career continued successfully way into adulthood. None could be named. She is still in some ways a child (this side I hope she never loses, the joy and innocence towards life in general) yet has wisdom that is difficult to understand. She cannot fit into the world of show business as it is, so she will change showbusiness itself rather than mould herself to fit into it. Whether this is from within Russia or outside, this remains to be seen

Это даже в записи запредельный экстрим. Она в конце поёт эстрадным голосом на большом диапазоне на фоне оперного баса. Ей пришлось специально подготовиться и выложиться на 100%. Some of those exist on RUTube which is the Russian KZbin but they are inaccessible to the west even with VPN. Some other performances exist on the official Russian sites that produced them but they require subscription and VPN. Some are from personal records they can not be found anywhere else. I would have uploaded videos from her solo concerts too but for some reason Diana's Russian community is against this so I just respect their wishes.

Ildar Abdrazakov is superb of course, and it is a huge honour for Diana to be working with him at such a tender age. She must have learned a lot. Their voices contrast with but complement one another wonderfully well. I have just watched through all thirteen of the videos on this channel's Masked Singer playlist. Diana's genius and precocious mastery of her art shines through, but again one is hugely impressed by the staging, choreography, costumes and arrangements. Everyone who helped put it all together should be immensely proud of what they achieved. Many thanks and much gratitude to Constantine for making the videos available to us.

It is worth to note something that is not talked a lot about her masked singer performances. There is a way that each episode ranks the contestants at the end of the show. The one who leaves on every episode is marked with a LOSS, those who stay are marked with a PASS the one that has gathered the most votes is marked with a WIN. Diana had 6 consecutive WINS before she sang "I will win you back" and everyone understood who she was, then she got two PASS for "I will win you back" and "Sweet dreams" and finally her loss with "Fly away with the wings of wind". Her 6 consecutive wins is a record that has never happened in any Masked singer show in the world so she is the record holder for that. Have you seen these videos without the crap filters? Thanks for the upload! If I remember correctly Diana has said she wasn't the biggest fan of opera which I find endlessly disappointing because she obviously makes a legendary opera singer! On a side note that one judge's outfits are nearly an crazy as the animals on screen! 😂

Diana has said many times in the past that she is not a big fan of opera and that she will never try it but in two of her latest interviews she is reconsidering, she said that she will consider singing Opera when she gets older and her voice sets more. It seems that both Ildar and Elchin Azizov (The Operatic baritone that had the monkey mask in the same season with Diana) praised her voice and compelled her to try Opera. Diana actually has some operatic training, she said in another recent interview that she knows how to sing Operatically and she already has the necessary "Dome" in her voice.

A great voice doesn't mean a great operatic singer, it's a different type of career. Also, she is switching on all her resonators, while using her own manner, like here. Likely, she will try it as a side activity.
