I really like the idea of the show! 1. The two singers know each other very well, but they are separated by the wall and cannot see each other. 2. Each hears the other's electronically distorted voice in their headphones, so they have no way of knowing who is on the other side of the wall. They just sing, the audience hears their real voices and imagine how capable you must be to create such a blind performance! Julia showed a great low register and a wonderful vocal! For Diana, comments are superfluous! Both were at the highest level and the result is as expected! Perfect! Perfect!

Юля старше Дианы на 15 лет. Ее можно посмотреть в той же маске образ змея. В шоумпскгоуван она участвовала вместе с Дианой, они там подружились. А еще есть записи Юли в шоу один в один. Обе они работают самостоятельно, без продюссеров.

Певцы не знают с кем они поют ,до тех пор пока стена разделяющая их не поднимется . И ещё пока стена закрыта они обе слышат в своих ушных мониторах искаженый голос напарника, и только когда они увидят с кем поют ,только тогда они уже слышат реальный голос .

На шоу "Дуэты" певцы не знают, с кем будут петь в дуэте. Никаких предварительных репетиций. Запись происходит в прямом эфире и под живой оркестр. Во время исполнения каждый певец в наушниках слышит искаженный голос партнера по пению, чтобы он не догадался, с кем он поет в паре. Когда поднимается занавес, они видят друг друга впервые. В этом вся интрига. Все исполнители говорят, что петь так очень трудно, потому что в наушнике ты слышишь какой-то смешной голос бурундука. Это мое любимое шоу и единственное, которое я смотрю по ТВ. This DUET tv show is about they don't know who their partner is, not only they are seperated but their ear monitor has a distorted high pitched voice of the other's so they don't know till the wall raises. By the way both of them guessed their parner will be a male, and named a few. DIana also performed a year ago in this show the song "The show must go on", recommend it. Diana met Julia at Showmaskgoon show, which was her first show she participated as and adult, and the other 8 singers welcomed the immensly talented, good hearted girl warmly. However they never sang duet. By the way in that studio it was well over 45 celsius, summer, sportlights, etc. so they endured it together. Recommend checking Julia Parshuta Cinderella, there is a special suprise if you react to it. P.S. If you want to see them hugging, after interview, the whole thing the full 2h show is upload at "WeIT media" YT channel, last duet. :)

Please watch again the very first video with Diana singing Elvis’s song. You will see the girl sitting on the bench in audience turning her head to the right with big surprise on her face while Diana performs “falling in love with you”. The girls name is Julia Parshuta. They both Diana and Julia were participating in that show many years ago. ( Diana won that contest). So, there were lots discussions among Russian audience about that show and who is the best singer Diana or Julia. Anyway, you can see them both now performing here in this video. The rules: each participant cannot hear the original voice of the partner they sing on the stage together. Instead, they hear distorted voice in their ear pieces. Before they start singing; they bet who they will sing with.

This show is not a contest, the idea is just to show the moment they see each other first time and their reaction. Most of songs in the show are too simple. A few artists got great songs. And Diana is the only artist, that got great songs she never sing before. Directors are choosing the best vocalists and songs for her with a few time to prepare. I don't know, if they are intending to set her up or believing in her greatness.

Ok. I don't the details, but this is what I think I know about this Russian show Duets. It is not a competition show. The hook is that each of the two famous singers rehear se singing a song. Then they perform the song without seeing the other singer. When each singer sings, they can't see the other singer, AND what each singer hears in their headphones is the distorted voice of the other singer so they can't identify who is the other singer. Truly, it is a surprise when they see the other singer. It really is an innovative and fun show.
