As is said below, the NIKA film awards are the Russian Oscars, and Diana was the only artist invited to perform. It was a huge honour for her. The people shown on the screen are figures from the Soviet and Russian film industry who had died since the NIKA award ceremony had last been held in 2021. Prominent among them is Eduard Artemyev, who composed the song Diana sings. It is a part of his soundtrack for the film "Quiet Outpost." Simplistically, NIKA is the Russian equivalent of the US Oscars. Albeit theirs is more classy. By comparison, ours is trash. It bears noting that Diana was the only vocalist who was invited to perform a song for this celebration of Russian film workers.
