This is a Russian folk song - the lament of an orphan, which refers to the river as the border between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Guests came to the foster family home to Woo her and she is worried that there is no one to support and bless her. This song is several hundred years old, maybe a thousand. Diana the most amazing mesmerizing recognizable atavastic tribunal shaman goddess voice in the world-any age. She was 14. She was 14. You should continue your Ankudinova journey by reacting the year prior to “ rechenka” when she was 13!!!! She entered her first kids contest in Russia where she sang a song that required masterful yodeling. It was a masterpiece, a tour de force, considered by many as the best voice audition of yodeling in the history of any videos showcasing yodeling-any age!!!! But in this performance in addition to her yodeling her body movement and stage presence were amazing and incredible as this might sound ( and I’ll shortly explain the reason why) NOT ONE CHAIR TURNED!!!! After the song was finished and the judges turned around , the audience interrupted what they were saying by giving Diana a 5 minute STANDING OVATION. After the applause, the judges had her perform a segment of a French song made famous by Edith Pief and after she sang it , the lady judge covered her face with both hands in utter shock , disbelief and SHAME. The judges said they didn’t press their buttons because they couldn’t teach her anything. She was beyond their level already. But this turned out to be a BLATANT LIE and one of the worse scandals in Russian talent contest history. Because the following day it was revealed that the contest was “ fixed” the winner was “bought” before the show started. A total travesty of justice and revealing how corrupt this Russian kids show was at the time. And the following days over 80 million who watched the contest when posted on KZbin spit on the judges. But she got her revenge the following year and year thereafter by winning not only the Russian contests in two consecutive years but 60 more awards and contests. Please ( when you get the chance) I BEG of you to at least privately react by YouTubing “ Diana Ankudinova yodeling”. And you’ll witness a yodeling masterpiece and if you stay to near the end of the judges commentary ( making excuses and lying) you will hear a brief portion of the French song the judges asked her to sing that she NAILED! And there is a video of her outside a mall at age 11 singing this same French song but the complete version and she KILLED IT!!!! And when you’re convinced that she’s one of the best female vocalist in the world ( like millions of others including myself) you may want to react to “ Human” ( lowest notes possible from a lady, a true contralto ) or her newer songs ( she just turned 17 the other day) like “by your voice” etc etc I promise you if you continue to publicly react to Diana your subscriber base will go through the roof!!!! She’s now almost as popular as the great male pop-op vocalist Dimash. And has her own Facebook fan club. And rumor has it that Diana and Dimash will perform together one day in the not-to-distant future and when it happens I can assure you when the upcoming concert is announced, it will be SOLD OUT in less than 20 minutes. ( 40,000 screaming fans ). I would mortgage my house my kids my everything to hear them live in concert!! The 2 best recognizable mesmerizing vocalists on this planet and any galaxy. Video from the show "You're super", when Diana sang this song, she was only 14 years old. It's not just a show, it's a social project. Where orphans who were left without a mother and father participate. In the program "You are super", only orphans participate, and there is only a live voice. It was created in order to show the whole world that orphaned children are no worse, and maybe a ray of those who grew up in a full-fledged family. And to show those people who took these children into their family, and raised them as their own. The essence is simple, you need to sing so that at least three people would press the green button, then you go to the next round. Before the performance of each child, they show and tell his story. (it is impossible to look there without tears ), one 4-year-old girl was found in a garbage dump, where she was trying to find something to eat, her drug-addicted parents left her there to die and left. Diana Ankudinova was found in the cold when she was 3 years old, Diana had a broken collarbone and a chest injury, she could hardly speak and stuttered a lot. Diana was sent to a shelter, where a physiotherapist-masseur adopted her. The foster mother took Diana to a speech therapist, who advised her to take Diana to singing courses, so that her speech would develop better. That's how little Diana began to sing. All the finalists of "You are super" (12 people) receive a cash allowance until they come of age, and pay for studies in music, variety and acting schools. And the finalists of the super season "You are super", plus, received new apartments with furniture in Moscow as a gift. (all 12 people). Diana won this contest 2 years in a row, the regular season and the super season ( where both new singers and former best ones participated ) For this reason, Diana now lives not in Tolyatti but in Moscow.
