As explained by jinxvrs this is not pure Spanish it is Ladino a very particular dialect, if you want to listen to Diana sing in Spanish then you can hear "Besame mucho" from her. Diana has sang in English, French,Spanish, German, Arabic and of course Russian.

This song was written by the Israeli artist Yasmin Levy and is sung in Ladino, which was spoken by the Sephardic Jews of Spain, initially in Spain and then after their expulsion, wherever they subsequently settled - mainly in the lands of the Ottoman Empire. The language is derived from Old Spanish, however there are influences from Hebrew, Arabic and Turkish as well as other languages from the Iberian peninsula. By writing in Ladino, Levy is trying to ensure that the language remains viable. Most speakers now live in Israel and Turkey.

Absolutely agree that she is a very fine ballad singer. She has said recently, after being asked if she wanted to be a rock star, that she actually prefers folk music. But she can really knock the heck out of a love song. And you are not the first person to remark that her singing in languages other than Russian is both interesting and thoughtful. However, I seriously doubt that she sings in other languages for promotional purposes. She seldom leaves Russia to perform, and not ever to Western Europe. She may be graduating from GITIS, but likely not before she turns 21 in late May. Perhaps then she may be able to arrange travel. Of course, much depends on what happens between her home nation and Ukraine. War is hell. Thanks for your fine reaction. 👍
