Greetings from Scotland! Diana layered her voice in this, effectively her own backup vocals. For me this is a loss and sadness song, but Diana always leaves it open to interpretation by the individual listener. She released this a couple of days after we lost our youngest son, so for me - very sad. Every time I listen to it, it emotionally destroys me. A beautiful and superbly performed original song, as always, by Diana. ------ Привет из Шотландии! Да, большинство нерусскоязычных воспринимают текст песни как результат расставания. Я думаю, дело в путанице среди нескольких прошедших времен в грамматике английского языка. Here is an interpretation of the Picture painted by Diana in this song (I think close to the feelings of any young woman in the world): The appearance in the soul of a woman of a huge (“covered everything with a wave”) feeling, uncontrollable by her in any way (“what’s wrong with me?”), But always desired and expected by her (“I’ve been waiting for you all my life”), precisely because of this immensity and uncontrollability, - causes her great anxiety about the inevitable and cardinal change of her (woman's) life and the future associated with this unknown so far. And the consequences of these changes are connected, inevitably, with the very essence of a woman, independent of herself, with what she was sent into this world and exists in it for: the birth and fate of her future children. That is why the anxiety is so deeply immersed in the joy of her love, the hope for the future is so weightlessly cautious. Hi, Diana did not write this song, however, it was written for her. My take on the lyrics, is someone being overwhelmed on meeting somebody and trying to grapple with the feelings engendered. Of course, you could also be correct in your interpretation.

I'll be back as soon as I can, but unfortunately so much is going on in my personal life this month with an unexpected move, university starting for me, and homeschooling starting for my son, I'm unable to record for at least a month and if I come back in December, it will be for Christmas feature. I turned the volume way up when you started because I couldn't hear you. Then Diana started singing and I rushed to turn the volume down so as not to wake my neighbors. Then when you started talking again I couldn't hear a word you said and closed caption was wildly off from what I thought you were saying. So I don't know what you said but thanks for the reaction anyhow. You seem very nice and I'm sure you were unaware of the audio problem. I love Diana.

That is the point though, the waves on the screen are calm but the waves on her jacket are from a storm, that shows he inner turmoil. She hit and held that D6 so clearly up there that is just crazy, i have heard clear cut Sopranos that can not do that and Diana delivers high note lessons as a Contralto. And yes she can go higher than this she casually hit a D#7 to D7 whistle notes (a whole octave higher than her highest note in this song), in an interview exhibition.
