Condolences on the loss of your father-in-law. It sounds like you guys were close. I bought my Bandit as a .25 conversion from Airgun Archery Fun in Canada. I had to cut 5 coils off the hammer spring to slow it down enough to push my 22 grain cast wadcutters at 600 fps. It's still making over 17 fpe at this level. These are really underrated guns. Mine is now a carbine wearing most of the Buck Rail hardware.

I have a Bandit in .22 cal. I noticed something seemed odd about pellet velocity, and did some testing. Ran it over a chrony. I was getting around 570fps with 14.3 grain pellets to start, at 200 Bar. Below 120 Bar, it started to go up in velocity, peaking at around 740 when it hit 100. I thought about putting a regulator in it for 100 Bar, but that would really kill the shot count.

Wait are you saying that at lower psi you're getting higher velocity this is really kind of odd. I only ask because just bought one of these in .22 as well.

@@Tonyplat98 My only guess is there's some kind of defect in the valves. I know many PCP guns lose velocity when they're over their maximum pressure, because the pressure is too much for the valve to handle properly. Might be something similar to what causes that. I'm not an engineer for high pressure valves, so all I can do is guess.

That’s a professional type looking air pistol . I really like the sophisticated look of it .

Love this range set up , makes those puppies bounce . We may have a loss be Heaven gains and that's always good . Thanks for sharing time with us.

I just got one of these. Just a quick question you have this for a while. Any issues with the plinker?

@@Tonyplat98 no issues, it's been solid

Would this make for a decent second pcp gun? Maybe you could revisit this with the buck rail conversion?

Yes

You have such a nice range! I don’t have a ton of space in my backyard so most of my shooting is done at 10 to 15 yards. What distance are you primarily shooting with pistols? It’s hard to tell through the camera lens.
@hundopow35782 жыл бұрын
From the dueling tree being the nearest target at five yards, the rack with the gong hanging in the middle is twelve yards and the furthest cowbell is thirty yards away, there are targets in between those main points like the pop can launcher out at fifteen etc.

Back again... Any idea what the velocity is with the slugs? I'm seriously considering buying another one in .177.
@hundopow3578 Жыл бұрын
Just guessing here but somewhere in the 800 fps area

@@hundopow3578 Thanks. I'm probably going to order one. I really like these pistols. I already own 5 Diana/SPA guns so another one will feel at home.

How do you mount the red dot to the rail? I order the same pic rail adapter and can’t get it on

Can't the slugs be fed from the magazine?

I haven't tried. But I would wager no. In my experience with these mags they will malfunction very easily.

It's got potential for it imo, not a hunter though just not my thing. It's a powerful little gun
