SIA composed this song for David Guetta and she also wrote the lyrics. David Guetta wanted Katy Perry to sing the song, but when Katy Perry heard the demo (sang by Sia) she told David Guetta to keep Sia's version because it was perfect, and David guetta published the song without Sia knowing this. She got a bit upset because she didn't want to become famous and she just wanted to compose song for other artist (for example, SIA composed Diamond for Rihanna) but now she says Titanium is the best thing that happened in her career because that helped her a lot in her carreer as a singer
