Beatriz Villarroez, Ph.D., Director of the VASCO project, Assistant Professor of the Nordic Institute of Theoretical Physics in Sweden delves into multiple transients and the search for ET probes.
Presented by Nolan Laboratory and the Stanford School of Medicine in November 2023 at Stanford University, the symposium convened an unparalleled meeting of leading voices from academia, government and industry to collectively drive forward a new academic legitimacy to UAP.
The videos encompass the various talks from across the two-day event, addressing the science of UAP, the potential societal impact, and considering the necessary steps to enable responsible sharing of any information held on the topic. Their release reiterates the Foundation’s message of increased transparency and disclosure surrounding UAP information and regulation; a defining theme of the symposium.
About the Sol Foundation: The Sol Foundation is a research institute that funds and guides scientific research. It produces policy and advisory research aimed at addressing the UAP issue and preparing society for its social implications.

Thank you. Regarding Prometheus and his titan brother, Epimetheus (who married the first woman Pandora & her infamous "jar" of evils), I think it is important to look at the meanings of their names, "foresight" PRO metheus, and "hindsight" EPI metheus. These 2 Titans represented ways of thinking, looking forward in anticipation or even technological predictive powers, or looking back, meaning history & traditions passed on which one has to say the ancients valued most highly: remembering their past, their gods, their interpretations, & stories. . . These brought meaning to their cultures. And they remembered with an intensity I don't think we can even imagine. And even those beliefs that survived, establishing themselves as major religions, we can see today in the middle east, playing itself out in a horrific way. But "dreams" perhaps correlate, as I believe Mary Shelley said happened in her inspiring story, or the chemist who admitted he'd dreamed after days of torture, the shape of the benzene molecule... There is one interdisciplinary group (not dealing with UFOs per se), but who look at myths, at prehistoric myths, petroglyphs, cave paintings, statuary, and the symbols used by these first civilizations, and found something utterly astounding that historians, archeologists, classicists, & theologians have missed! That dragons & serpents were actually PLASMA DISCHARGES, occurring in prehistoric skies! And remembered, recorded, and interpreted, and evident in everything they did! What caused these discharges and electrified skies, may be debated by astronomers, but the message is absolutely undeniable! And the ancient astronaut theories are misinterpreting ALL these symbols, for their own purposes, for a narrative where gods are replaced by ETs! Their basic thoughts may have merit, UFOs & visitations, etc. but they are passing on a faulty theory which MUST as in any science, be corrected. Eden and its 4 rivers, was seen in the prehistoric skies! Atlantis, as Plato describes from previous Egyptian priests with its complex of circles & channels, in the sky! Why was the planet VENUS seen as feminine, all over the globe, by all cultures? Because an Alien told them, or because a great union, a conjunction between the mother goddess Venus and the warrior-god, Mars, gave story & form, and yes the celestial "fire", to primitive human societies. Why did Hunter gatherers bury gobekli tepi, or why did humans move into underground shelters, caves, and dwellings, because a great catastrophic event, perhaps several, came from the skies... But this primeval source for ALL our religions, myths, building monuments, and sacred mountains, and rituals, began with these heavenly events; there seems no doubt. It will revolutionize archeology & history, as well as your field, but will help us understand our past in a way that seems imperative at this point. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmiocp-KmL95rbssi=3lTmXB4sL6xN-IPZ Documentary on YT. I remember in 1991, that eclipse in May, where Mexico had one of the best views, and the video cameras were running everywhere. And what did they capture? A singular object, from various locations, or perhaps more; oval, shining, just hanging there in the sky like a mechanical star, doing what? Watching the eclipse, or just showing itself to the apes with fire (technology), lol. Whatever IT is, can we dispute its knowledge of solar system events like an eclipse? Does it have reverence for such cosmic things, as we do? Or is it tempting us, to think about such events, long, long ago, that drove our species to wonder and think and imagine, and CREATE. Thank you all, SOL, for sharing these great lectures! Absolutely. And Dr. Vallee, I'm your greatest admire who sent you a package, to the library... Cheers all! Keep looking! I re

For experts to do meaningful studies, their data also needs to be "united". A successful example is plane crash investigations. Investigators are always on standby, ready to start, and it is expected that all information already available is made available to them without hindrance and they are free to seek more evidence themselves. Their work is treated as a priority in a wide range of social structures. I believe the biggest impediment to UAP research is that evidence does not reach scientists that can make sense of it.

The most important lecture in the series! It's essential that SOL understand itself as a religion, especially for legal reasons. There's nothing wrong with revamping old school hermeticism with transhumanism, UFOs, etc, but when Holy Disclosure involves whistleblowers giving sworn statements contrary to courtroom standards of ordinary truth, it's probably a good idea to have a religious defense to fall back on. Ie, Telling Congress that "Jesus walks with you and talks with you" probably wouldn't be perjury, but telling them ET is flying around in spaceships with illegal government or military legacy programs might be

Fascinating POV, and I kinda of get it, (although I don't agree that it is a religion at all). It's a paradox. It's counter to what the people involved actually think, but it could be a useful legal loophole if it becomes necessary - to protect the conversation and those with information to contribute. Kinda dastardly, but it does reflect reality. The most success tends to occur when creative solutions are applied. What an interesting social change - in the past, considering it religion might have had deadly results. Today calling something a religion (even if it's not) could be protective!
@wayned803
@wayned803 7 ай бұрын
@@Stefalef why do you disagree with this being a religion? The ET represents a hope for the future of humanity (technological progress, environmental salvation, etc), and gives a functional purpose to life. Further developments of the species and finding our place in the universe is analogous to a "second coming". I could go on and on here, but I think one thing this is definitely NOT is just a purely detached scientific investigation into whether aliens are flying around earth in UAPs
@wayned803

@@Stefalef sorry, I meant to write a better reply, but my longer comments keep getting dropped. Why do you disagree that this is a religion? IMO, we have something very similar to Theosis from Christianity (eg "ET came down to man so many could rise up to ET")

The need for a secular religion perhaps. A post-religion moral schema must be built to regulate the demons of our lesser nature. An expansion of the Love principle. This Disclosure should be an B.C./A.D. moment in human history. My concern is that we won't take the initiative to push the collective consciousness in a new direction. I'm afraid something like that might require a Christ, Confucius, or Buddha like figure. A secular prophet with that kind of gravitas.

And therein is the fly in the ointment. It's helpful that people like herself who are steeped in the mythology, the religious stories, the literature perhaps even events such as miracle events that are often found within Catholicism but not limited to it, we should not take what they say as truth but rather as an account that is interpreted within a framework. Think of it this way, if you put something in the ocean let's say an animal or piece of metal it will have barnacles and microscopic things living in it or on it and around it, likewise religious individuals bring their own barnacles that we must remove to get at The germ of truth that exists underneath all of whatever it is that is surrounding it. Science will give us our ultimate truths but the witnesses to many of these events will be the anthropologist, the mythologist and people of religion not because the account is incomplete without them rather because they are a witness to something and we need their information.

I like Diana's work, but she goes on so many useless tangents over-explaining what she means in every interview or podcast I've heard her on that I don't like listening to her actually speak about these things. She's just all over the place when she's explaining something. She does eventually get to all of her points, but it's a meandering and winding road to get there. I don't mean this as an insult at all. She does amazing work and her book is pretty direct with the information it purveys. I just wish that she herself were as direct as her book was. It's also possible that I only feel this way because I already know and have known most of her tangent information for so long that I feel like it should be common knowledge for those interested in this subject. As an example I'll cite her telling everyone at the SOL conference who have been in this field for literal decades and may have known him(For sure in Jacques Vallee's case) who J. Allen Hynek was.

She is one example of that however imperfect. This is a process, a very long process because far too many religious people have preconceived notions that they cannot abandon or if they do it is usually at Great emotional upset for them.

I love Diana Pasulka! She's so bold and honest. Quick note though on Jack Parsons. As someone who's digested and integrated Thelema in the last 20 years, I do have to giggle at the reference to Parsons contact as being "non-angelic" (I.e Satanic) It's important to understand if you don't already, that this is a Western knee jerk reaction to what in say, Hindu systems would be perfectly normal. The Goddess Babalon in the Thelemic system is no different than any goddess in that she takes on manifestations that show different sides. Babalon's closest resemblance in Hinduism for example is related to Kali. Thus she is not a demon or an evil force. Jack did not in anyway conceptualize what he was doing as an act of discord with the "divine" or goddess archetype, as it's seen in "Pagan" traditions. The Babalon aspect of the greater "Sophia" or Shakti or whatever you label it, is simply the divine feminine doing what is necessary for nature and evolution.

I struggle to determine which personality in UAP discussions has larger Dunning Kruger - Tom Delonge or Diana. If you think a PhD in Religious Studies and a rockstar are people read into anything real and tangible by the DoD is laughable.

That's your issue. You think DoD validity is the only way this is "real." Once anyone is read in on anything DoD related, they are screwed on talking about anything. They are now bound by secrecy and legality. Say the wrong thing and to the slammer you go.

I knew about Garry before he was well known on the internet, back when people didn't know who James was in Diana's book. Then James got revealed as Garry and that showed Diana is at least true to her words in that case.
