Wowza! Now that's a handpay! I absolutely hate to pay taxes on a barely there handpay. I don't mind as much on those BIG ones. If I do play on, I always cash out and remove my card briefly and continue paying as a new player. More times than not I will hit a decent iine hit or better! Hi Sherry, like you I really get frustrated when I get those wins of $1200.00 for a tax form and it's just one more thing to itemize on our taxes. We are long overdue for the IRS to raise that to at least 3k or better yet 5k before we need a tax form and more paperwork for both the casino and us! Mom says hello back. Yesterday was her 90th birthday!

I was playing next to an aggressive slapper, ready to move elsewhere (makes me so angry) when a slot attendant stood behind her watching and told her "ma'am, if you continue abusing the buttons, I will have to have my manager speak to you about it. I hope you understand and agree, because one patron became irate and was asked to leave." I wish I would have had the forethought to record that conversation, but she did apologize and continued to play. I had to move away quickly before I burst out laughing.

@@Dianaevoni I’m surprised most Vegas casinos don’t have the penny version yet, I’m also surprised Reno doesn’t have the penny version yet but maybe Atlantis and/or Grand Sierra resort will get it soon. If indeed I make this trip next month on my way to Reno I’ll make a pit stop in Vegas and I’ll let you know if any casino has the penny version by then. I’m coming to Reno for 3nights in October from the uk just wondering where the best place to stay would be , the silver legacy and eldorado have 3 nights for only £200 but I’m guessing peppermill is the classy one yes ? But isn’t it a bit out the way from downtown Reno ? Any advice would be great thanks and hope to bump into you Diana 🙋🏻‍♂️x

I don't gamble at the downtown casinos because I don't feel as safe in that area as I do at Peppermill, Atlantis and Grand Sierra Resort casinos. In my opinion the nicest rooms at a Reno casino resort are in the Tuscany tower at Peppermill and that is where I put my friends up when they visit. Peppermill also has my favorite casino restaurants. Before I moved to Reno I have stayed at Atlantis and GSR and they are good too though the GSR elevators sometimes have a long wait or at least that was my experience when staying there. Peppermill and Atlantis are about 3 minutes from each other and GSR is about 10 minutes from them. Peppermill and Atlantis are about 8 minutes from the downtown area and GSR about 10 minutes. Unfortunately if you stay downtown it's doubtful we will bump into each other unless you visit one of the casinos I gamble at. I hope you have a lucky and wonderful time in Reno and if you do plan on stopping in at Peppermill you can contact me to meet up there to say hi if you want.
