"Unfaithful" was not a satisfying movie for me, because the couple was presented as being very happy. There was no reason for Diane Lane's character to have an affair, other than lust. No. I don't think it was that. He was getting movie roles. Seemed to be more related to a drinking problem he had. It was reported in the news that way. I remember it making news with a bar scuffle while on movie location. Another report of a 911 call to their house which Diane played down. He's settled down now it seems. Remarried and I think the granddaughters Streisand is crazy over are his daughters.
