It's cause she's so big, everyone targets her first in most fights. SDS had a thing with size and power, Escanor gets huge, Meliodas's dad is huge, usually they get bigger when they power up, size is a huge target in the show.

The anime is very well done, the only issue is that some points of major plot are very easy too figure out or is just outright said but the anime pretends its still a secret. Its predictable at times, however it stays very true to the manga which is very good but the only con is in the later chapters there's not as much detail compared to previous.
