Thank you! I enjoyed seeing the chickens at the beginning and hearing about the weather. We got up to 61 degrees today in Colorado before going into a deep freeze tomorrow with a little snow. I'm glad to hear your headache has finally gone. Magnesium is wonderful. It helps my sister a lot with epilepsy. Sometimes I've used it in lotion form for arthritis and Charley horses. I enjoyed watching you crochet. Our brains need different things at different times. You gave us a wonderful painting project. I especially loved the wet on wet at the beginning, the dots at the junctions, and how the whole piece developed like a quilt.

Love the chooks barn. My favourite part of the day has always been letting my girls out the morning too. There is nothing like watching chooks scratch around the backyard

I really enjoyed this video on neurographic art! I have done several with markers and colored pencils, I will definitely be trying this with paint. I hope that your headache stays away, I am 66 and have had migraines since I was 9, they’re awful! I love your studio, very jealous here. Be well, and keep doing what you like doing💜

Great therapy, I am in need of this for sure as I feel many are. And I love the quote you shared, I feel the same way. I have a cat for now that will have to do, apartment living is no place for a dog from my opinion. Bless you dear and please stay well.

Diane, so sorry to hear about your headaches...they're the worst! I don't have as many as I did at one time in my life...I live in the US and sinus & allergies were especially bad (& some migraines too) when i lived in Florida...so hot, humid, moldy, buggy. I was able to move to Maryland in 2009...much further north and sinus & allergies aren't so bad here. I still get some sinus & allergy-related headaches, & stress headaches & even mild migraines on occasion, but it's not near as bad as when I lived in Florida! Climate can play a big part in our health! And now at 68, being way past menopause...I think that has helped too. I hope you get some long-term relief soon!

So glad your headaches better. I've doodled, my version of neurography, since I was 17 years old. I'm about your age. I love to listen to audio books while I draw or paint. Did you know they're free on KZbin? Love your chickens and dogs. I have parrots and a Yorkie. Dawn from Alabama USA

I have done what could be called neurographical drawing (or something similar) for years, but I just did it on my own and called it my doodling. I also did Zen Doodling for a while. It's all very relaxing. For me, very often the art of it all that I was putting on paper would start looking like something that I really liked (because I did more shapes snd line variations. I'd start derwin a design that I really liked and I'd get more purposeful With what I was doing. I understand, if you really need to relax and be mindful with what you're doing at that moment, then getting more purposeful about what you're doing may undo the mindful relaxation benefit of it all. (or should it be called "mindlessness" instead of mindfulness?) 😊

❤😊 Very nice take on this process! I did a series of this a couple years ago. On one I tried an abstract technique to underline the squiggles, I was very pleased with the result. I might have to give it another go. ❤

@DianeAntoneStudio Yes! I have the same problem you did with busy thoughts entering my head... So, on the next one, I scribbled them out in the 'nero-art' tangle thread. The happy ones, the frustrated ones, the closet I need to clean out, the paperwork I need to sort and organize ...all the bits and pieces of my life that were bugging me, went into the thread! As I was rounding the corners, all the secondary images in the piece started coming out! It was amazing! It was like a hidden puzzle where the solutions to my frustrations were there for me to find. ❤️ Good luck, and I'm glad you found a solution for the headaches. It's easy to get depleted in the wintertime! I take something called Emergen-C. It's got magnesium and all the electrolytes in it. You put it in water, and it tastes like punch. 👍

I love this style. Thanks or this. I'm going to try and copy this. More or less of course. It would never be exactly the same would it?

I really like this. I may try something similar & use some salt to create extra texture in the painted areas.
@DianeAntoneStudio9 сағат бұрын
Yes, that’s a good idea. Salt would definitely add to the texture, especially if you use cold pressed paper.
