I love when you do long paint sessions. I enjoy your stories and listening to the animals and birds outside your home, as well as your fur babies indoors. The fur babies indoors just want to be close to you. They enjoy the peacefulness of the atmosphere you surround them with as well as being close to you. I do the same at my house. My fur babies just enjoy being close to me while I paint. I have a lot of birds on my property. I'm a birder, so I love listening to the birds sing as well as listening to any new bird visitors who may be passing through. Listening to nature while painting brings me so much peace. Thank you for your videos. I truly enjoy what you surround yourself with while you paint.

Hi Diane, I love your teaching method and long sessions. Thank you so much for all of your time in preparing and in sharing your talents. I am a Calligrapher and share what I know about the double nib. Actually the bottom tip is what you write with and the top piece is intended to hold the ink supply for the nib. Hope this makes sense to you. I find it very interesting that you are so creative with dip pens and love to see you use them.Sincerely, Judy Henshaw, Pinehurst, NC, USA

@@DianeAntoneStudio When I lived in Plymouth, Michigan an old gentleman told me about the heavy snows that stayed on the ground all winter. He related how the wind caused the snow to drift up higher than the windows when he was a boy. Our winters were nothing to compare. Weather changes. Always has, always will. Sometimes we benefit, sometimes we are overwhelmed.

Thank you Diane for talking about your experiences about the corruption and the way things are changing. We want our elders like you to speak up because it will inspire youngsters. We have been trained to shut up and take the crap that is being dished out to us and this is the reason why corruption has spread ALL AROUND the world. If it weren't for my parents and my grandparents who told me to build a real community of friends and family and question authority, I would have been isolated and alone in this generation of social media and aritificial intelligence. Thanks to people around the world who come together and demand changes to improve the lives of common people. 55:04 - was my fav painting of this episode.

Hi Diane, I am able to get Daley Rowney locally here in the states. I spent approximately 8 hours at my painting table today. I am trying to paint a rose and I did not give up. I did better with the circles I must say. I was quite pleased with myself putting down the circles ,blotting the color up, spattering and then putting down leaves. I so enjoy your videos and after a year or so, I am getting the hang of intuitivley mixing colors, which I enjoy so much. Thanks Diane. Let me know if I can get you a Daley Rowney color that you crave.

Haha funny how you mentioned the banana thingy, I literally was watching thinking I keep seeing banana shapes. So I literally guess your piece was inspired by bananas your love of them and perhaps missing them due to your allergy. The abstract allergy painting. I love it. Also I learnt about the romanticism and pre Raphaelite brotherhood in college and worked in a little theatre in Merton abbey mills where the William Morris pub was named after the artist they all worked together and followed the same movements in those times too. Painting romantic images and forming an art movement together along the river wandle. It's fascinating. Lovely work as always Diane. You have beautiful colour use I love it :)

Oooh, I d be in trouble in England if I needed medical help!! I’m not only quire sensitive to several foods but truly allergic to many chemicals. One example is during a surgery I went in hearing in both ears and came out with strange hearing. A couple of days later I realized if I put an ear bud in my right ear I could hear absolutely nothing. Turns out I had an ototoxic response to the anesthesia or that and a combination with another drug used in surgery. Six years later still stone deaf in the right ear!

Allergies are very real and US docs asks about allergies first thing. My son has a life-threatening food allergy to all nuts. His throat closes up and his face swells so that he is unrecognizable. He carries an eip pen with him at all times and must be taken by ambulance if he is exposed. We take allergies very seriously here. No cats or dogs in our house either.

Personally , because it’s helped in be past, but it needs a great therapist for us sensitives , is Traditional Chinese Medicine. Functional medicine . Truly , it’s about finding an aware doc

Yes, I know, and unexpected histamine reactions catch me out often. Unfortunately where I live there are no Chinese doctors. I do have experience of a great Chinese doctor, about 30 years ago in Calgary AB I was going through an early menopause and he helped me with acupuncture and dong quai. Sadly the medical world of France is paleolithic.
