Omg Diane! That was absolutely FANTASTIC to watch. You are AMAZING ARTIST. I will probably watch this 50 or more times. I think I might learn quite a lot from watching your methods. I’ve never seen anyone paint & draw like you. That is EXACTLY how I want to also. I always wondered how artists painted loosely (not staying in the lines etc.) and NOW I KNOW. YOURE THE BEST. ❤️🙋🏻♀️. My dear Diane, nice to finally meet someone who is so happy to share her artistic inspirational talent with me. This video was so inspirational I wanted to run to get my materials and have a go. ? It’s 11:30pm here in Florida USA! I’m mesmerized!! And so so much appreciated for you sharing. After 6 months of beginning watercolor classes I put all of my things away and gave up! But I kept searching and praying and here you are!! ( I e wanted to watercolor paint my entire life) I have very good materials ( I do need good brushes and will purchase ones you have suggested) mine I think may be a problem) I’m so sorry for my novel. I’ll be subscribing- joining your Facebook group and whatever else is available to me. See you soon. I’ll be binge watching for a long time. Hugs dear new friend 🍂🎨🖌👩🎨

Dear Cheryl, i’m so glad that you found me! I’m sorry it’s taken so long for you to find someone to help you to learn how to paint watercolour. But finally we are together and you are on the right track! I wish you much joy and pleasure in learning journey, and look forward to reading your comments - or your novels! - as we go forward. All the very best to you and most importantly have lots of fun! Happy painting, Diane ❤️

WOW! I SO LOVE THIS! I have never ventured outside of the box like this, but have wanted to.... Just didn't know where to start. This is something I want to do today. Fall is my favorite, and you sure have captured it. It's such a wonderful exercise to get my brain to see things that were not intentionally there. It's so very creative, and I'm needing this and craving something like this. So thank you so very much Diane, in this one painting, you have opened up so many doors for me. My mind is whirling with ideas.

Hi Astrid and welcome to the channel! So glad you found me and I’m thrilled that you enjoy the way I paint watercolor! Nowadays watercolor paints are so much brighter and more intense than they used to be and we can really benefit from that in our art! Acrylic is great too, but I never could remember to wash my brushes before they went hard!!! Welcome again and thanks for your comment and for subscribing xx

I loved this! And I will try it, I have never considered using a watercolor pencil to draw with, but that is absolutely brilliant!
