Good afternoon! Do you have a favourite radio show? I'll be on Irish Radio later this week (Friday evening) with Ellen Leonard "Friday Feeling", Midlands 103 ( www.midlands103.com/on-air/schedule/2021/10/08/ ) and we'll be chatting about the Danish art of hygge! My favourite local Danish radio channel is P6 Beat (a mix of talk, punk/rock, electronica). Listening to the radio or music keeps me motivated! And the winner of my October Giveaway (a private coaching session) is: Lakia M. Congratulations, Lakia! 👏😀

Hi Diane. I came across your videos over a year ago now could have been autumn 2019. It was a very dark time in my life with terrible family issues. My motivation had gone and I was struggling. Finding you on tube helped me focus so much and took away the anxiety of feeling overwhelmed. I just want to say thank you to you 🙏 Still have a few dark days, not every issue got resolved (the hardest one to live with 😥 is still unresolved) and I have days where I struggle but you helped my mind set and helped me get some sort of organisation. Bless you x

Diane, I just found your channel... I can't listen to you at work, you are voice is so relaxing, makes me a bit sleepy! But I LOVE all of your advice! On the note of your being left-handed, my daughter is as well, and with my husband and I being right handed, I have found that sitting across from her helps her to literally copy what i am doing and she has been able to learn things that way.... now, with that being said, she is only 9 years olds and has NOT tried to learn to crochet, knit, etc.--- but MAYBE this might help the next time? Best of luck with the crochetting, and I look forward to more from your channel as we all begin preparing for the holidays!

I am also left handed but my family call me cack handed. My mum still can't watch me cut a loaf of bread - which I do very well I may add but to her I just look cack handed. I have found that it is best to ignore the fact that I am left handed - the majority of things I do like a right handed person. E.g. when I learned to iron as a child all irons had the cable on the side - so was just not possible to iron with the left hand, so I iron with my right hand. Nowadays the cable is in the centre - why didn't they think of that before? As for eating, in the UK we use the fork in the left hand - so that is obviously very easy for me - I couldn't swap the fork and knife - would be very difficult. I also learned to knit from my mum and grandmothers and it didn't occur to anyone that it could be done any other way. However, I have never been able to learn to crochet or any of the other types of scoubidou craft.

We do not have tvat saying about red and green, we used to have " the colour rules": Do not combine complementary colours. That is not red and green or blue an yellow. Blue and yellow was also considered a bit like dishonouring the flag thing? Except for uniforms and national team clothes, and the national dress. Others were do not combine blue and green, or red and pink and a bunch of others, blue and green was the most umportant one I think. All of these are more or less forgotten now, blue and yellow was a big thing in the 70ies, along with t-shirts and underwear in yellow with flagblue crowns all over it, or a big one on the chest ... or more unusual, reverse flagblue with yellow pattern. Most famous the "Eat More Porridge" , "Ät mera gröt!" , t-shirt with the flag on it ... These days it is more like _everybody_ is scared to death of humiliation by the fashion police if they combine any colours. Only combintations permitted are like black, grey, beige and offwhite and a colour, but even safer is sticking to neutrals only ...
