As someone who’s worked in security at the airport, PLEASE always get there early! We can’t guarantee how long it’ll take to process you through security and there’s nothing worse than seeing people miss their flights because they decided to show up 30 mins before departure!

Those plastic things (our version of sleds) are essential with kids! Imagine walking around with all that winter gear and little boots - it ain't happening. So to get some fresh air the parents walk and pull their kids in the sleds, you can do it even while skiing cross-country.

We don't usually get to the airport too early in my family, only two/two and a half hours. The earliest I've ever been is 4 hours when I went to Kenya with my school and we arrived 4 hours before the flight and had to sit on the floor for an hour before we could check in.

One time my mom made us get to the airport 7hrs early! We drove from key west to mainland Florida and she was worried we'd get stuck on that overpass. No one was talking to each other by the time we got to the airport 🤣🤣🤣

We have been to the airport 6 hours before our flight before... Simply because we had a friend take us because they work near the airport and they had to start work. ALSO, we have been at the airport for 5 hours waiting for a connecting flight and then STILL nearly missed the flight because SOMEONE got distracted drinking at the bar (not me) 🤣

Loved the vlog! But you said the name wrong it’s called Rovaniemi , Its the capital of Finnish lapland 😊 But pls Dianne don’t only wear joggers thats way to thin , Layer up, You should wear thermo than thick pijama pants and than 2 pair of thick socks and under the gloves you should also wear thermo gloves , And a good old jumper and then a buff what you had and put it over you’re nose , And pls be carefull of frostbite can be dangerous, And wear make-up during the day cause there is aqua in the products and that is not ok , They tolled me in 2018 to put the cream at nighttime on before bed and shower before bed , But i loved the vlog😊 Lapland is my second home my connection with Lapland is so strong no idea why , And santa clause village isn’t weird it’s more for kids you can meet santa and wright a letter to your parents or do a reinder slederight , I have a love for Finland since i was 16 and bein in 2018 i have bein to lapland and i loved it! I have bought a very special souvenir it’s a silver reindeer necklace with a reindeerform and a amathist in it and its even my birhtstone❤️ And i love Finland! It feels like my soul country, Like my roots are there i love there metalbands and i started to play guitar cause of there music and last year my fav guitarist passed away called Alexi Laiho (41 years old😢🇫🇮) and i love the cold and the snow and i saw then the northern lights 3x in one week, But there is an app called Aurora and you can type the place in where you’re staying and then how higher the KP is the better chances to see them , I miss lapland we should bein back in 2020 but covid happend so i am hoping to be back in 2023, Happy new year!
