I am Japanese. After watching this video, I am amazed to see that the old customs still continue. I am also envious that there is still an environment where all villagers can cooperate and hold a single event. In Japan, individualism is so prevalent that there is no cooperation among the whole community to hold an event. I hope this custom will continue forever. Thanks for the great video.

Jesus Christ is God and you can call on Him, He died for everyone's sins so that if they believe on Him they can have eternal life, and time is short because He is coming back for His children, those who believed in Him and repented of their sins and had a real relationship with Him, and He wants a relationship with you, there is no other God but Him, He made all things, even your soul He crafted in your mothers womb because He loves you and cares for you, if you seek Him you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart, God is not far, He is near the brokenhearted, God bless you

I’m so grateful that you have shared this with us the respect and honor the community and love the reverence and peace that I viewed in this video. I’ve never witnessed before it’s tradition and I wish every one around the world was like this, since becoming an elder in my family as I am now a grandmother, my main goal is to pass down traditions, respect and honor to my grandson so that he may pass those things down as he gets older has children and then grandchildren thank you for sharing this with me. I write this, and tears not from sadness from joy of what I’ve witnessed many blessings to you and your entire village

Love how they are capable of maintaining these beautiful, sacred traditional customs throughout thousands of years. I believe that traditions and cultures are the roots and the foundation that defines who we are among billions of human beings. I'm touched watching this video, it reminds me of my hometown in Vietnam; we also honor our ancestors by conducting sacred ceremonies; there are some differences between the two cultures certainly. However, I treasure the meaning of these ceremonies and hope that the essence of cultures will be preserved for thousands more

@vijayukarde8723 Yes, the Chinese government plans to take over the world one food and farming KZbin video at a time. This is at least your 3rd comment posted to this video. You must love watching Chinese communist propaganda. Apparently, so do millions of your fellow Indians! Believe what you want, but Dianxi Xiaoge's production company is a private entity. In order to reach an international audience, she posts to KZbin (via the US) because Chinese social media isn't easily available outside of China. Several independent American journalists have already confirmed the reality of Dianxi Xiaoge's situation.

In india too we celebrate a tradition called "Pitru Paksh" during this time of the year. We believe that for 15 days, our ancestors come down to be with us and bless us. We make all kinds of offerings and dishes that they may have loved to eat when they were living among us. Once that is over, immediately begins Navratri, where the Universal Feminine energy or the Goddess is worshipped and revered. Even Mexicans celebrate "Dia de Los Muertos" where they honor their acestors through rituals and traditions. How far apart we all are, yet so similar in culture.

Thank you for sharing your village traditions. Such collective events are so important for maintaining the unity and life of a community. Working together routinely on familiar task, eating together, cooking together, solving problems together-they build the cohesion that makes it possible for villages to hold together through more difficult times. It was particularly moving for me to see the whole range of ages present and taking part, from small children to the elderly. I come from a heavily urban part of the country (Shanghai) where rural life is not well understood, and it's lovely to get your insights and personal stories.
