If we're to tuse acute diarrhea in place of acute gastroenteritis, when is it accurate to use AGE?

here is a simple way I use diarrhoea + vomiting= acute gastroenteritis diarrhoea alone no vomiting= acute diarrhoeal disease

I've been wondering, how does hirschsprungs disease cause diarrhea?

Well interesting question and this is how I think it can cause disease through 2 mechanisms: 1. Hirschsprung's enterocolitis: inflammatory cytokines and other mediators affecting the absorptive capacity and permeability of gut. 2. Overflow diarrhea: In severe, untreated Hirschsprung's disease, stool can become impacted and build up in the colon. This can eventually lead to some watery stool leaking around the blockage, which might be mistaken for diarrhea.
