Diary from the Countryside 063 Festival Held Every 7 Years / Something was in the Compost

Preparations for the house renovation continued. This time we had a seismic evaluation of the main house and a visit from the plumbing contractor.
We borrowed a backhoe, we moved the compost yard. And out of the compost came... tons of ＊＊＊＊＊!
Over the weekend, we went to see a festival that takes place only once every 7 years in south Nagano.
And what a highlight it was!

カブト虫の幼虫、大きかったですね‼️私の山でも、堆肥を今年作ってみたいと思いますよーwww ベトナムでは、ココナッツのおが屑の中にカブト虫に産卵させて、ココナッツのおが屑だけで養殖させたカブト虫の幼虫を食べる文化があり、ハノイとホーチミンで私も生きたままその幼虫をヌクマムにつけて数匹食べましたが、美味しかったです。 が、もう一度はないかな。。w 今年は私も中古のバックホーを頑張って買いたいなーと思ってます。

They seem to go out of their way to protect their privacy. With good reason I'm sure. I like the format they have. It's more about story and what actual life is like in the Japanese countryside. The plants, animals, equipment and all the work involved. We should respect their privacy.

実家の畳を畑の隅に野積みしていたら、同じようにウジャウジャとカブトの幼虫がいました。昔の畳は全て天然素材で出来ていたので、野積みでも土に帰ったのでしょうね。幼虫は取り放題でしたが、そのまま放置。田舎に慣れ過ぎていたため、カブトは珍しくなかったので。 その後、都会のデパートでカブトが高値で売られていて驚愕でした。幼虫までお金になるとは！あの幼虫を売ればよかったと、子どもながら後悔したのは懐かしい思い出です。

Just an idea, you have plenty of natural running water coming out of the hillside, how about channelling it all into one area the lowest spot, dig the low spot out and make a pond to keep fish in for food or pleasure ちょうどアイデア、あなたは丘の中腹から出てくるたくさんの天然の流水を持っています、それをすべて1つの最も低い場所に導き、低い場所を掘り起こし、そして食物と喜びのために魚を飼うために池を造るのはどうですか?

飯田市の７年に１回のお祭り凄い‼ ということは？諏訪神社の御柱祭りも今年？と思ったらもう一連の行事は始まっている見たいですね😉コロナ渦で色々大変だろうけど伝統行事は受け継いで残して欲しいですね😉アルプスはさんだ隣の県だけど 今年は一杯積もったですよ❗❗やっと日中の気温が二桁になったので冬眠から目覚めないと(笑)

今年の夏には、沢山の幼虫からカブトムシに成るでしょうね。腐葉土作れば無数のカブトムシ発生しますよ。ただ田舎なので珍しくないだけですよね。
