Here's my ending to this, using the old cast Greg: *Wakes up screaming* *Susan, Frank, Rodrick and Manny all come rushing in* Susan: Greg, are you ok? Greg: No, I just had a nightmare that we all went to Meemaw's 90th, but we all looked and acted differently! Mom, you kept blaming me for everything and you were blonde instead of brunette! Susan: Huh? Greg: Dad, you were too occupied with work! Frank: I love my family more, but did how I look change? Greg: Barely. Anyways Manny had a pig with him for some reason. And, Rodrick? Rodrick: Yeah? Greg: You weren't as smart as you were in real life and you had curtains for hair! Rodrick: That's not me. Greg: And, the worst part was, in this nightmare, I was shown to be someone who only cares for video games and barely cared about this family or Rowley or Holly Hills or anything I care about in real life beside video games. *Rowley and Holly Hills both come in* Rowley: Don't worry Greg! None of that ever happened! It was all a bad dream. Holly Hills: I know that you care for more than just video games, so, how about this afternoon, we all hang out to cheer you up? Greg: Thanks, you guys really are the best. Rodrick: Can I tag along with you? Hoping to promote my band! Greg: Sure thing Rodrick! Thank you all for helping calm me down! Now let's get some sleep for tomorrow!

Honestly, the movie wasn’t that bad. It’s not good. Definitely not. But it’s not the worst movie in the world I’ve seen worse. It’s just lacking. The original cast was perfect and felt like an actual family. This family feels like they were forced to act as a family at gunpoint so Jeff Kinney can get more money. But the music in this movie is pretty good. They still use hand drawn animation which still looks good. The story actually isn’t bad. It’s just the way they did it. And I don’t blame the actors. They did the best that they could and I can respect that. 4/10 movie. Hated it! Only thing good was the music and animation.

"To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Long Haul. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Gregs's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Diary of a WImpy Kid The Long Haul truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Mac Digby's existential catchphrase "Thats How Digby Do it" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Charlie Wright's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Diaper Hands tattoo. And no, you cannot see it.
