This song is true. And a great work to tell the story I have listened many times. And it’s sad but he does do a great job at bringing the story to life. My opinion is a song should always tell the story. Proud to be canadian. Best song I have heard in years thank you for your hard work. God Bless

Apparently Ellis Coles Years later worked at Construction near the site, a friend of mine from my home town area of Valleyfield worked there too and saw the sad site and part of the wreck that still remains-God Bless them all.

Love this song. It’s sad they all died. But the writer who wrote the song did the best to tell it. It’s now a part of history. To me every song should tell a story. You did a great job at bringing it to us. Thank you so much. Proud to be Canadian. Thank you. And May the rest in peace.

I agree-I am reasonably sure the singer and composer Ellis Coles who lives in a small Nfld., town about 100 kilometeres from me worked at a Construction job years later in Saglek Labrador- I know one only person who worked there and saw the site of this tragic event.
