I hope you enjoy watching, please excuse me looking a bit 'rough' in this video, it was filmed at 9.30pm and i decided to apply the dye at last minute haha. Take care. Claire xx Update 1: 1st hair wash.... even though I rinsed the hair dye until the water ran clear, after washing if for the first time this morning, some dye came out and bubbles were a bit orange in the shower. My roots don’t seem any different but my mid length and ends have faded a bit. It’s still a gorgeous shade but I’ll see how the next few washes go. Update 2: It's been two weeks since i dyed my hair and i'm a little shocked.... I found that every time i washed my hair, the water contained a bit of dye as the water was an off orange colour. This went on until my last wash yesterday (i was my hair around 3 times a week). No dye on my pillows etc very strange. Also, it has faded loads and that happened pretty much straight away. The colour is even which is great but the shade is more like when i was at week 5-6 of my previous hair dyes as far as fade is concerned which is not great. I'm still ginger but its not the vibrant ginger you see in the video. I will be using this dye again in a few weeks time unless, it fades even further and ill do it sooner but, id rather not as i dont want to damage my hair any further. Very odd hair dye, i dont remember this happening with the other Live dyes i've tried before. I use sulfate free shampoos etc so i'm aware of stripping my hair, very strange. Xx

This is the best copper colour Mango Twist. I am 79 & I use this colour & it suits me so much & I get asked a lot what colour I use. Also, it doesn't fade as much as other makes do 😁

What a gorgeous color! All of the stylists in the US always steer us away from box dyes and say they're bad. But a lot of them look so good. Maybe they just want to make money. It gets so expensive in the salon. It would be nice to save money with the box dyes.

Justine Adams yeah I think so plus, if people don’t patch test first they could end up with an allergic reaction plus, people may not understand the shade numbers and how the dyes would interact with their hair colour etc. Thank you hun xx

Hi Claire, so I had a hair nightmare and I had really light roots and slightly darker strands and been looking for something. I found your video and it gave me hope to use the same hair dye. Wow so happy I did because I have a gorgeous all over colour and just a slight difference with my roots but it covered the dark root growth and the other bits will grow out. My hair was a light copper and needed it a shade down and this colour is gorgeous so thank you for sharing ❤️

Very nice - this is my favourite brand of hair dye I normally use their mystic violet or one of their reds but I have dark brown hair so it gives a hint of colour - more obvious in the sun. Also this is probably why the conditioner isn't as good any more for everyone but I find it's one of the few hair dye after conditioners that is silicone free which is good as I avoid those and sulphates in hair products so its good for me.

Leanna Claridge thank you lovely 😊 yeah once you’re black it’s so hard to change it. The only option is bleach. My cycle used to be black, blonde then red then back to black again. I’ve stayed this shade for around 5 yrs now I think. Ooh I’d love to get the next one, not sure where to look out for it though, hopefully someone will post it up at the time. If you are able to find it let me know and I will keep my eyes peeled lol. I do live in Ely though even though it's a city (it's more of a town but we have a cathedral so we are a city) we dont have too many shops about. I love it here though lol

Hi, thank you for this video. You look beautiful with the copper hair. I am about 50% grey but have it medium/dark brown at the moment so I will need to bleach my hair first. Oh Claire looks a beautiful colour will watch avidly ! I was a natural brunette then I started going grey so I went lighter and lighter now it’s a bright silver colour and I too love mine , I go to the hairdresser for mine because I have a bob and needs a cut every five weeks ! Looks fabulous ! Pop a deep conditioning treatment on if your not happy ! But from this side it looks great !

Diaryofabeautygeek it’s not too bad with fade however I do it approx every 4 weeks as I’m naturally blonde and my light roots really show. Do you think every 4 weeks is too much?

Elizabeth Thomson no not at all, with top up hair dying the roots get longer so there’s less processing time on the mid lengths and ends. My hair is thin and it shreds fast so I’m couscous of over-dying my hair but the recommended time frame is around every 6wks but that depends on your hair and it’s growth etc xx

i have also used Olia.. i found it bleaches your base far too much and on the long run, it really get them so dry. I have switched to this Schwartzkopf live and i much prefer it. They all very much fades under the sun. If i dye my hair before going to a beach holiday, i come back blond within the week!!

Hi, I’ve been looking for the perfect ‘ginger’ for the past few years and I’ve tried everything but always go back to Superdrug Colour Vibrance Mango Copper Burst (sometimes if I’m just doing roots I’ll use Rich Copper Gold because this matches the faded Mango Copper Burst) and it’s usually on offer, currently two for £6, have you tried it? What is your favorite copper hairdye? I have used this one a while ago and it turned out real red. I heard that you have to wash it a few times and than it turns the right color copper/ginger. Shelley Jacobs nope, I have thin medium brown eyebrows and when I’m blonde or copper I use blonde/ taupe eyebrow products and build the colour up from there but when I was black, I used brow eyebrow products. I seem to be able to get away with matching them whatever hair colour I am... thanks to them being thin I suppose xx

Not if it’s a bright red. If it has faded then yes it will turn a ginger tone. But if you want to be proper ginger, if your hair is in good condition, I would lighten it a bit first then add the ginger. Xx

Yes but you’d need a colour deposit in between dying as it fades quickly

Keira Xox not long!! This ginger dye fades almost fades immediately unfortunately. These ginger dyes don’t fade back to your normal hair shade but they fade into pale ginger, so not as vibrant as first dyed. So for me, I dye my hair every 6weeks plus if I use a colour bath something’s too in between to keep it brighter. Going ginger, there’s more of an upkeep than other shades. Xx
