Probably, but in my head-canon, Dale just let it succeed because he was so pleased by Jacob's establishment of the krakens (who, one would suppose, should be near Cthulhu levels of world-shatteringly horrifying to the PCs) as chill creatures who enjoy pedicures.

I have a question how are you gonna handle the logistics of having the main characters switch bodies whenever they die when you do the Netflix live action series? Hire a bunch of actors which rotates every episode? Wouldn’t that be confusing for the viewers?

...they're CLONES of themselves - same actors. (just different makeup/props depending on 'mutations'; and in Jordan-R's case, the v/a takes the stand-in role while in 'normal human' form.)
