Trubie: your excitement for the sets here is crazy infectious. Avengers Infinity set didn't really wow me, but watching you getting excited is getting *me* excited about this one. Thanks for sharing!

As much as I'm enjoying the avenger's infinity set, this set is what I was really looking forward too when they announced the shift to an lcg. I'm not even a 40k fan, but the character's look fun and it looks like they are really gonna bring some new stuff to the game, and thanks to this video I now know that they are gonna bring back some keywords that I really think deserve another chance. My major complaint so far with this new model though is that they've been playing around with max dice counts and yet they haven't provided any reasonable way to access them. I love that some max 5 dice cards are returning (especially on low costs like the orks) but I won't be able to try that unless I shell out another 12 dollars on top of the 24 I would normally pay to get 2 team packs. And lets not even get started on asking for another 40 dollars just to have max dice for one campaign box. Hoping some singles sites will get on this soon because I really want to complete everything and not go broke doing it.

That first Poxwalker was a max 6 dice I think.

The Poxwalker is a max 4. Everything in the Campaign box is max 4. Orks and Spacewolves both have "Max" variety with some max 5s and a couple max 2s. Orks also has a Max 1.

I’ve been on the side lines for dice masters for a long time. I nearly pulled the trigger when I saw there was a Spider-Man team but didn’t in the end. Been a big fan of GW for a long time so this could make take the plunge. As there’s a lot of campaigns in dice masters and teams. Could I have a match between a 40k team vs a marvel team?

You can absolutely mix and match and face off against everything that's been put out in Dice Masters so far. Your Chaos Death Guard can face off against the Justice League, or your Ultramarines can team up with Iron Man and Iron Spider to take on a team of D&D Dragons. It's all 100% compatible together. That said, some card mechanics and abilities work better when paired with cards from the same set or same universe (like something that buffs Ultramarines isn't going to help Avengers at all) but generally it all works together wonderfully.
