Those emotional blackmails from apparent loved ones, those baseless threats from someone your trusted etc... All counts... Basically anything external which makes you disturbed from within becomes a risk factor of mental health issue... So we need to learn to be unaffected by external factors as much as possible. ♥️

Like to differ here. Parents are behind us say marriage for a reason. No one in world will selflessly love and care the way parents does. Not necessarily child at that stage may take such huge decision alone and parents help. Their ask is not forcing but from experience they speak and know their child behavior as well.

But look around and explore and you'll find those conservative parents who force their one-sided expectations over children just to satisfy societal folks and the famous "log kya kahenge" and "izzat" stuffs... Many parents refuse to identify their children as an 'individual' & so they find it difficult to entertain and realise that children too have personal dreams, desires and aspirations, & I don't think destiny of Children is to keep getting suppressed under these cumulative expectations 🙂 Say anything different and you'll be thrashed, start a discussion and you'll be shown that you are bound to remain quiet and not utter a single word... See around & many have struggled out to live out their dreams be it in career, education, or relationships...

Everyday when i get to know more about people around, I feel more and more lucky! Both my parents are from UP and they had an arranged marriage. But they always say to me, "marriage is a choice, not a compulsion to live a happy life". And being a girl, such support from parents means a lot! Papa to roz bas ias banne ki motivation dete hain aur mumma bolti hain shadi tabhi karna jab koi bohooot achha mile ya fir mat karna😂 And this is so rare in our society! We don't have to be against marriage at all, we just have to realise that not everybody wants it, and thats alright!

Love marriage will help both the boy and girl because they have known each other and are comfortable with each other they are already in love with each and know each others personality. They can be in a relation for a long time before marriage. In arranged marriage they will have to know each other first and then learn to love each other. They won't get enough time before marriage to know each other completely because you may not have spent time with each other that much. But if you can learn to love your partner a then arrange marriage is not that bad too but sometimes you may not end up with the right person so you'll have to take that risk.

So, now parents & children are open minded & progressive. The cons of Arranged marriage is that you have many options, talk to/meet many people & it takes time. The Pro is that, you agree to it when you are ready; date with the permission of your parents; you can clarify anything/everything in your mind & as you proceed & meet more n more persons, you actually learn more about yourself & what exactly you want - infact your checklist also changes (or atleast the weightage of the existing points increases/decreases). Arranged marriage, is a very crisp & scientific way of getting married ! Arranged marriage is good, not regressive as it's portrayed, as it's a good combination of our personal choice + parents experience. At the end of the day, love or arranged - these are just 2 paths - what is important that the marriage should be happy ! 💐
