His insight into humanity and social problems are so relevant today as it was 40 years ago. We need more social influencers like Mr. Gregory and George Carlin. They spoke the truth.

I saw Dick Gregory speak one evening at Northern Arizona University in 1983. That's in Flagstaff, AZ. I was a student for a semester there, age 30. Doesn't look like there is any record of that event. Coming from Northern California, I knew Dick Gregory was someone special. He is still relavent! Nothing has changed regarding handicapped people and seniors who can't make it through the month on the paltry amount of social security we get. Still the richest peeps don't pay any taxes. 🧐🤨 Food is political! Dick was ahead of his time. 💟

How can one bring honor to a nation established on lies and deceit. A liar has no desire to correct their way, but to continue in their lie. To change course now would bring down the house of cards.

I’m a white 45 year old man, just for some perspective, and I’ve been so influenced by this great man recently it’s like he’s reading my mind and connecting some of the dots that still needed connecting! lol THIS man should have been our president and it kills me that the idea is merely joked about during his speech, when in reality THIS is who should have run this “great” country and then maybe we would’ve at least had a shot at being “great”! 💔Rest in power Mr. Gregory, you are still empowering some of us to live better lives and connect with the universal god within all of us 🙌♾️❤️🎯

As a professional athlete and coach of yutes, so true that fitness is vital for every living human being. Sports are now a entertainment-driven industry game yet the tactical awareness, adaptability, and creativity seen/shared in all sports reflect a lot of what Baba Gregory was speaking to in 1983. We are STILL playing this game, stay aware and simple my fellow players!!!

Is what you’re saying suppose to force a dark cloud over this man’s speech? He never said he was perfect like yourself but he is trying to save a country from itself. I thank God he doesn’t turn the light on all of our dirt because it would surely silence us from pointing fingers.
