As they mentioned this is a hobby that can get quite expensive, but it’s so very worth it! I’m not sure how many buildings I have at this point, and lots of accessories but I love all of them!

Peggy, I agree. I'm a new collector since November 2018. I've finally completed my collection and has taken 2 months to set it up. It's not as extravagant as this. But I plan on leaving it all year unless I get tired of it, lol.

This is spectacular!!! What an awesome display! Clearly they accomplished this in FUN! This can be called a ‘hobby’, you know that activity your dr says you should do to ‘relax’ and de-stress? Yup, you know. If you’re doing it year round, it’s called a ‘lifestyle’. No matter, it’s FUN! Whomever is the recepiant of this village, I’m sure will know its value and know its to be shared.

I really wish I was as creative like her... my Grandma....... rest in Peace had Dickens village and now I've continued on to keep the tradition on going. I wish I culd get at least 40 buildings and a well laid out train track that goes with the village I wish there was a different way to light the building's instead of messing with the wires and plugs but I hope to keep the tradition on eh.... I've always helped my Grandma set up the village I miss doing that alot. Thank you for creating something well thaught of and really Beautiful for all to see and am very sorry to see yull be not doing this no more 💝

Wow that was a very life like and realistic village. For those of us that do villages we really appreciate all those details. And a village seems to take over if you let it. It becomes a challenge to your self to go above and beyond the previous year. For me it is an outlet and a way to decompress from the stresses of my work life. Villaging brings me to a kind of happy place that is imaginary and carefree. A place where we can forget all the craziness life can throw at us. There are many creative villages on this KZbin. never time to take it down for good....pass it on...build more....never enough village! i have 55 houses plus accessories...my mom has 75 or so plus....someday it will all come together and be beautiful like this. GOD BLESS

I wonder if she sold the pieces, or gave them to her children/family or donated them to a museum? It would be nice to see her masterpiece live on... Too many people create whole towns/villages/cities for train sets, Christmas, role playing, etc. and only a chosen few will ever enjoy their amazing creativity! :( I really hope she shared that talent so others, children and bigger children could enjoy it? It builds found memories. We used to have a department store in our city that built a life size village on their eighth floor every year.. Nothing but found memories for so many people.

Of course this village is so beauty, and she need a lot time to build everything. Sad she doesnt will do it again. But, even this is great, she "buy" every single piece. I would like to show you, a special woman which she made every single piece on their "Bethlehems", she is a gypsy spanish artist, and she create and made each piece, from people, animals, items and even "rocks and buildings" with her own hands.
