The Supreme case killed Ja's career and any other artist on Murda Inc. No one at the time wanted anything to do with Murda Inc, Irv Gotti or any of the artists. That means no label money, shows, features etc. Plus Irv wasn't in the space to work for a few years. I'm sure without that case they had 2 or maybe 3 years more in the before their era fizzled out

If you really think about it, Ja rule made the exact same mistake as tupac did which ended tupacs life and ended Ja’s “career”. They were both at the peak of their career and had the world dangling in their palms but both were so caught up in an image their “management” tried to portray that they both got gaslighted into basically takin on beef that their managers had with real street peiple.. Pac started claiming mob piru after joining deathrow and attacked an opp at a casino which led to his demise. Ja’s behind the scene “manager/muscle” supreme had beef wit 50 and ja feeling tough because hes with supreme decides to try and prove hisself to his label and end up being the “casualty”… If both pac and ja stayed out of beef that wasnt theirs, pac would be alive and probably still a megastar and ja wouldve been makin non stop hits. And TBF, It wasnt ja vs 50.. it was basically Ja vs shady aftermath which is like smokey vs deebo
@youtubeaccount458
@youtubeaccount458 5 ай бұрын
That's not true in Ja's case. Maybe with Pac, because he didn't grow up like that, he became a street dude as an adult. Ja was actually outside the majority of his life. When he was a young child he lived with his grandparents who were jehovas witness, but his mother was dissfellowshipped from the religion when he was 11 years old, that means nobody in the religion is allowed to associate with you, you're completely cut off. His grandparents tried to stop Ja from seeing his mother but he chose to go live with his mom, they moved to woodhull projects in Hollis queens where he grew up. At age 12 Ja started hustling crack to help his mother pay bills, confirmed by his mother. He later joined CMC (Cash money click) who were Street hustlers in Hollis queens who rapped part time, he was hustling with them up until his homie Chris back got locked up for 5 years, Ja got a record deal shortly after. He was homies with hussein fatal from 2pacs Outlawz before rap, Wise supreme confirmed Ja was in the streets before rap. So when he got into it with 50, he wasn't tryna live up to an image, he was just being himself.

Yes music shifted no doubt we was ready for hard-core gangster rap yes, but also the diss songs head to head 50 washed jah. I agree also because look when 50s run was over or diminishing who came pushing in. It was Kanye, T.i and Lil Wayne. Let's be real weezy was around long but he wasn't part of the hard-core gangster rap Era that tight pants skinny jeans style would have never made it. So yes music and culture shifted Kanye would've been lupe fiasco or Talib Kwali of the gangster rap Era. T.i would've made it only one. Things go how they go just gotta enjoy music and the different eras. It's proven overtime nothing will last really as it came out the same. Shit changes

50 Cent ain't end anything it was the feds and y'all need to stop pretending that 50 Cent went at Ja Rule solo when he had 15 other rappers go at one man along with him while Murder Inc . was facing a serious federal case. Y'all falsely credit 50 Cent for something he didn't do
