Not only that, but I still don’t think we know exactly what the cradle is, but it could be an adapted version of nova six. if the cradle was/is an adapted version of nova six created stateside then that would also put her parents down as potential targets for Mason when he’s gone rogue between 63 and 68 before he shows back up at rebirth killing Steiner. We still don’t know what her parents were doing in the CIA so they could have been creating their own form of chemical weapon. Or trying to replicate nova six with all the information they had at the time

@ Hudson was never an assassin, his work usually keeps him away from the front lines not that he can’t get his hands dirty. This bit of info is from his character bio Hudson is an excellent tactician and mission coordinator, bringing the full brunt of his genius level I.Q. to the field. As such, he has earned great trust within the halls of Langley and will undoubtedly go far considering his ability to command a room and crisis management skills. As one associate said, "Jason has a way with words; when he speaks, you can't help but listen." Though much of his work keeps him away from the front lines, Hudson is a very capable soldier, particularly when the mission calls for an element of subtlety and finesse… so there’s definitely a possibility, but I don’t know if you’d necessarily be able to say Jane’s parents were murdered with finesse or subtlety the person basically just had a mask and a leather coat no bullshit keeping it simple. Considering Mason basically had the exact same pistol (aside from naming differences in black ops one and black ops six) and an extremely similar leather jacket when killing Steiner, my personal opinion is that it leans more towards Mason… Hudson has 2 kids of his own so why would he murder Jane’s parents Especially when she’s still home.

Not sure if I'm reaching here, but the way he kills harrow's father seems very much like something mason would do. Mason likes to make fights personal and spectacled with little reason. multiple times in bo1, he kills important targets by throwing them around, hitting them, and especially the execution style he uses with the pistol seems almost exactly like how mason executed the scientist when getting revenge for reznov.

I would definitely rule out Case only because he would be around the same age as Harrow. How would I know? Frank Woods calls him "Kid" which let's me know that Case, Harrow, and Troy are the new trio compared to Adler, Woods, and Mason. I think the masked man being Mason is plausible it could also be hudson as well in fact, i believe it could only be Hudson or Mason as those were the only 2 K.I.A in Panama as they were setup to be removed v.i.a Pantheon.

Not impossible, but it also possible that Hudson was an intermediary between Emmerson Black and the executor. Throughout his appearances, Hudson often seemed to be the mid level operative who is not necessarily a desk clerk, but more likely to get involved in field when someone messes up and in more urgent situations - someone between the faces in the shadow and field operatives.

My theory was that her parents were double agents to pantheon and when Emerson black sent in an agent to have them executed they wanted revenge and groomed her to take in her parents footsteps. It wasn't adler because he didn't join the SAD until 1966. It wasn't woods because he wasn't aware of that mission. So it leaves either Mason or Hudson. Personally I believe it was Mason given the voice and time period and given mason also hunts double agents in cold war campaign as well.

Case was probably born during the events of black ops 1 (1961 and 1963 and 1968), or black ops declassified (1975, 1976, and 1977) If he was born during Bo1, he would be one of these age groups in 1991 (1961=30, 1963=28, 1968=23) If he was born during Bo declassified He would be these age groups During 1991 which he isn't (1975=16 1976=15 1977=14) So he was probably not even born yet or was just a kid when harrow parents died so it can't be him.

My guess is Weaver, no argument to be made on his lack of an American accent - his family defected to the US when he was 7 years old and later joined the CIA in 1954 after excelling in Ranger school - he would have been fully integrated into American culture and would have cultivated an American accent over the years. By the year 1960, Weaver would have had 6 years of experience as CIA operative under his belt, undertaking assassinations of HVTs and partaking in various covert operations both domestic and internationally. At the ripe age of 24, it's certainly plausible that Weaver thought nothing when presented with the op of eliminating Harrow's parents - it was just another day at the office. We know later on he goes onto become an integral cog in the CIA's operations and activities alongside the major characters throughout '60s. Weaver's exponential growth in his career as a CIA operative also appears to coincide with Harrow's parents' deaths - the higher ups knew they could entrust him with greater responsibilities without question, as we see him heavily involved in the events that occur in Black Ops 1.

We do not know enough to make definitive conclusions. The reason why Mason would do such a thing would be because someone higher up would want Harrow's parents dead (maybe they knew too much and became loose end). If Emmerson Black wanted them dead, he would contact Hudson and Hudson would give the job someone like Woods or Mason to do the deed. Mason was a marine recon sniper and born and raised in Alaska as a hunter - meaning he was good shot and someone who you'd send to terminate someone. In original BO, he is the one sent to terminate Fidel and in Cold War, he was sent to terminate Arash. It is his job to make other people disappear.

This happened in 1960 though. Mason had his kid around 1979 and Hudson, while mentioning he had kids by 1989, they wouldn't be any older than 17, meaning Hudson would've had kids by 1972 at the earliest. People from the CIA aren't always pure of heart or actual heroes. Everyone within the CIA have to get their hands dirty one way or another and I can see either of them being the ones to do the deed. Plus, we do not have the context behind the reason why Harrow's parents were assassinated to begin with. I'm still willing to bet it had been Mason who did it, which would make sense for Harrow to follow up for her revenge during the Panama operation in '89, manipulating the circumstances to get Mason killed by the hands of his own best friend.

I also only say that because after Hudson broke Mason’s brainwashing and reincorporating him into the black ops group, the CIA and or the US military, he would’ve obviously had to cover up a lot of the mistakes and things that were done during the time he was brainwashed. this will lead to the pantheon finding out and then dropping the information off to Jane. we also have no idea if pantheon altered or tampered with the information I draw the connections between the cradle and Nova six simply because we still have no idea exactly what the cradle is and it’s still unclear what role Jane’s parents had within the CIA. They could be higher-ups and just have access to lots of information therefore making them an easy target. Or maybe they were reformulating or trying to create their own version of nova 6 or a different chemical weapon with the information that they had at the time.

I mean, do you remember when he shot an injured guy with no way to defend himself and Adler shot him cold, claiming that "he was going for his weapon" when he had nothing on or near him? Even then, Hudson is the type to send other people to do things like what Mason had been hired to do previously, like being sent to assassinate Castro in BO1 or Aldrich and Rudnik in Cold War. I'm actually leaning more towards Mason as it would make sense, considering the circumstances that led to his demise due to the Pantheon's involvement with Menendez during the Panama operation in '89.
