This was awesome...the way you see these metalepsis in the Bible so easily. Is there books that you would recommend on metalepsis in the bible? Also, while this video I was just thinking on eschatology and some of the scriptures Jesus used that you mentioned in this video where at one time an understanding was I given to show Jesus return or when He is ruling in Eternity but some of what you shared is what He displayed on earth...is there a video series or book that you have that I can do more reading on eschatology or that you would recommend as well?

For metalepsis (really, intertextuality in general), I recommend Commentary on the NT Use of the OT (ed. by Carson and Beale). For the Gospels, I like to use Richard Hays book, Echoes of Scripture in the Gospels or his other book, Reading Backwards: Figural Christology and the Fourfold Gospel Witness. On eschatology, I don't have any recommendations. It's a very broad field and not an area in which I spend much time in research.

Imo its about descendents new ones babies coming down to be born and dying ones going back up... those he foreknew...
