Hot take, BUT I genuinely enjoy both Terminus and Liberty Falls. Terminus gives me that OG Zombies vibe and I love the EE ending and what it sets up for the story (as a lore person). Liberty Falls is just fun to train and go for high rounds on which I throughly enjoy especially for the camo and prestige grind.

They need to come back with those crazy maps like Moon, Shanghai-La, Origins, Mob of the Dead etc… Not necessarily just another moon map or another prison map either. I mean maps that are so far out of the ordinary with lore and design. I mean you guys remember how fucking crazy it was when we went to the moon in zombies? Fuck that was the map when it came out

I certainly agree that a lot of recent maps kinda feel the same, they’re all ‘facility’ maps, not even Terminus is safe from that given the lab underground. Here’s hoping the maps later down the line can bring more colour and innovation to the design.

It sure saved zombies for me. It’s an amazing blend of the QoL features from Cold War, adding new QoL with augments, I am GRINDING this game heavy. I got a pretty nice reference while playing as Maya with Napalm AAT, she says something like ‘if anyone says chimp on the Barbie, I’m killing you” killing monkeys with the fire trap on Ascemsioj he goes ‘Woo! Chimp on the Barbie”

Good to see some positivity. I’ve been playing since WAW and they did their best to please new and old fans. They weren’t gonna be perfect. Cold War was good and felt soulless but man the new crew feels great. Anyone hating is probably paid off or just upset it’s not the original crew

I get that, liberty falls definitely has the weaker atmosphere of the two maps

Nah, not even close to being back. I've already put like 40-50 hours into the game because it's fun sure, shooting things is fun. The Zombies is still leagues behind what we had back in 2015. What we have now is just Cold War with a playable crew, and Cold War was a serious downgrade when it came to gameplay and systems.

what I think we all need to accept, is that BO3 is sadly never going to be topped. The game has clearly gone in a different direction now and is trying to appeal to newer fans and older ones alike, which I believe is what BO6 is trying to be. It’s got a decent balance of newer ideas but also older vibes, ie, having a crew and a stronger atmosphere.

It still looks like every single call of duty game and modern warfare game since BO4. If you were to put all of the games since then together on the same screen I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Pathetic

There is definitely a lot of similarities, but to me it seems as if BO6Z is finally giving some sense of identity back to the mode. Terminus especially looks great.
