Hey naut how did you come up with your name for the channel and the "naut" running gag ?

Well... the original name was onlywebz.... as a parody but felt like people didnt want to interact with a channel named that. Then I had the idea of a Mimic Pirate Design so the name Naut(Nautical) instead of Not was born we've been through a few iterations Nautgoodatgames -> NautAPirate -> Nautlocke . Just to make it easier to find in the search algorithm & easier for people say. Basicly I like puns :P

Your content is really great man, I love to play whatever the meta is naut (I'm getting into it) and your decks are great content and inspiration. Funny on that matter how the rogue I created and sent you a while ago actually ended up taking over the meta. Sometimes you have that moment of glory and nobody knows you anyway. But anyway keep up the great videos, I'm sure you'll keep growing. Btw I think cashcow could be a good addition in this deck to basically skip turn 6 and slam one of your big payoff cards earlier or even just get the Ziliax 1 or 2 turns earlier against aggro

I agree cashcow seems like a good idea the only downside is its higher cost in an already high cost deck & naut a battlecry minion BUT the coins could just been really good. Definitely something I'd like to test if i wasnt rushing the vid out a day after the changes

u just reminded me stars align exists lol time to put that on the long list of ideas to try out if i get bored enough. I've tried similar lists for rez priest in the past i just honestly think delayed product aint worth it the rest would be interesting tho i might personally cut down on things like harmonic pop for lightbomb(no extra body in ur rez pool) WE REALLY need a good rez target for priet to be printed to make the deck a tier 1 deck again BUT I think its close

In one hand, I think the hunter cards were underutilized; in the other hand... not really many synergies worth bringing into the deck. Sadly, the problem of the deck is that is very board centered in a meta where no one fights for the board ending in very one sided matches where your oponent either aggro you out of the gsme or succumb to the big minions. This decks are ar their pick when your oponent actually tries to take also the board, like the evolve Shaman from the second game.

i think the deck actually worked fine for what it was sure should we have naut used shiny sentinel to lower the curve probably but overall the deck felt flexable. I also wanted to use more hunter cards but like u said non fit the deck well

@Nautlocke_Vt I'm not a big fan of shaman so I'm a bit biassed. Tho I like the evolve archetype. Actually, is technicly possible to play a little bit of evolve in DK too; with the location and corpse giants as targets for the cost-4 spell. Even Cube might have a slot in there... Just a little deck idea. What are you planning for the next video?

dungar priest which some games might be before the balance changes… i also realized while testing it’s basically highlander priest without the restriction but o well its been a while since we’ve done a goofy combo deck

@Nautlocke_Vt i assume you are gonna be using the Hunter cards to cheapen your Dungar. Since you mentioned Highlander priest, I think between Dungar and Elize the second is better for three reasons: summons more minions, uses copies so the minions remain in the deck... AND, sets them to 5/5 which is great if you also want yo run cheap minions in the deck. Also is cheaper and has better stats. I think the only thing Dungar does best is at tutoring specific minions, which is a fun enough concept to explore on its own.

I... tired the hunter package it just hurt the consistency of getting the 3 minions i wanted from it. IF I hadnt already got the to games that I have already I would have try the Highlander angle but... I kindof want to try to use Diamond Spellstone for memes :P The way we are discount him is hoping and praying we hit dorian off of creation then pendant of earth dungar. Which in theory should get us Amanthul, Leeroy & Hedanis(I want to use something else but idk what) then we can revive hopefully hitting Amanthul + either leeroy or Hedanis to copy. I thought about briefly trying the highlander version to try to get the miracle reno otk turn off but idk felt like it would rely to much on me then using synchronize to get reza back to hand I DO think there is a deck there tho we just are going to clickbait rez priest a bit instead :P
