Cardi had the way better verse in my opinion though, Nicki had super basic punchlines. and Cardi had a far superior flow and was rhyming more syllables throughout. To explain what I mean about Nicki's punchlines, is that the setups are only in there for the purpose of the punchline, and don't link to the next line at all or stay on topic in the verse at all. Half of them are just "I am something in relation to something else" and it's namedropping on a scale worse than the Game. Compare that with Cardi's catfish line which was not like the best thing I've ever heard but is genuinely really clever and she's actually saying something with it.
