If I remb correctly, the first episode of CEO Kim (where she was trying on clothes), PM minguk was introduced as the company’s chief secretary and in-house legal counsel before her previous personal assistant left for NY. To be an in-house legal counsel means he’d need a law degree! So rare to find a non-egoistic male law degree holder who can carry trays and dishes so well! 😅

I think it's quite common thing in korean working culture. I'm working in a korean company (overseas) and yeah things like that happened every single day (to everyone) 😂😂😂 there were times when I feel that going to office is like going to the 'warzone'. In reality, there is no such thing like "job position or job classification" because in the end, they expected you to be capable and able to do all things alone 😂😂 My co-workers are all engineers. All of them have good industrial engineering, chemical, mechanical degree from very reputable university,, but I saw them regularly put their mask and gloves, holding a broom, pulling weeds in the garden, cleaning the toilet and collect the thrown away cigarettes butt and sometimes deal with strange stuff (getting critize in choosing menu for dinner, finding a rent house, dealing with the boss' personal life etc). So I have a huge respect for PM min guk and the others "PM min guk". I feel you! 😂😂😂

My two cents: The work load is big, but as an employee you have to think of it as an opportunity to learn more. You are being groomed to be something more, that's why she is correcting you for you to learn and not make the same mistakes again. Just look at her previous secretary, the one that is in New York, i think she became the manager of their branch there? That's big opportunity right there. She is not just giving you 'unnecessary work' but is training you to be professional and to be ready to face bigger challenges the industry will give you. I hope to have a boss that is just not giving you workload after workload that is repetitive, but actually teaching you to grow in the craft and in the industry. :)

I think she's definitely playing it up for the cameras lol. The premise of this show is that it features unreasonable bosses. She obviously signed on to the show for publicity ($$$) for her company. That's why her employees don't seem genuinely spiteful or afraid when they bitch about her to the camera lol (and she doesn't seem to mind their comments at all).

I think ceo Kim's way of being a boss is a must in their line of work. because everything matters and one mistake can lead into a big disaster. shes not picky its just that she's being cautious to avoid any conflicts to happen. even though her actions towards her employees is not that nice, she's trying to make it up to them in different ways.

I used to be an intern secretary so yeah quite resonate with him - even though my CEO was so so lenient, he never asked me to carry things for him. He even helped carry my bag when my hands were busy with other stuff. But Boss Kim seems to bebat the standard level for bossiness. My friend, who was also an assistant, even had to prepare a birthday party for her boss' children (after working hrs) and leave before the party started. Her boss wasnt even the CEO/founder, just chief of a department. But yeah it is what it is.
