Man, having watched her for years kicking ass in Pro Wrestling: EVE, in tiny bars like the Resistance Gallery and venues like York Hall in London, met her once or twice & she was super lovely, even wearing one of her old merch shirts right now? So cool to see Jamie Hayter killing it as AEW women's world champ. Such a badass. 💖 Also got to see Emi perform at a lot of the above places too, and meet her a few times as well. Match of the week, along with Cage vs Danielson! This why Emi Sakura should be on TV more often, she rocks! Both ladies delivered a fantastic performance! Jamie Hayter being the one who wanted to fight against Emi Sakura shown a lot of attitude and a big heart of a champion! Matches like this make a Women's division of any wrestling company the best in the world! A version of the All-Atlantic title for the Women's division could be fantastic with so much wrestlers from different countries, the Killer Queen Emi Sakura could be the well deserved inaugural champion, and she with Mei Suruga who hopefully will be All Elite, could be an official team (Killer Queens) and maybe be part of the Kingdom, and work with Maria Kennelis who could be their manager! Hopefully AEW will be do more and better for the Women's division over the next years starting in 2023, because it's about time, these athletes are absolutely incredible and they deserve all the best, respect and appreciation! that would be cool but no shade to Skye Blue but Mei is absolutely on a different level from Blue right now. Blue has a lot of potential but hasn't really reached it yet. She is growing steadily but honestly 2022, Mei was firing on all cylinders. She blew the house down in CMLL, had a MOTY contender against AZM in Stardom, carried Gatoh Move and ChocoPro on her back and more. She could be the face of any promotion in the world if given the opportunity. She is that good.

Not taking anything away from the previous women's champions, but I believe that Jamie Hayter's championship matches so far have been more exciting, hard hitting, and competitive than all the previous AEW champion's matches. And they certainly are much more so than Jade Cargill's matches which are for the most part have become so predictable and tired. Jamie on the other hand has blossomed into a great performer that gets better and better with every match. Gotta love those python arms! Emi did a great job as well. I hope AEW breaks her out of the "dark matches" and be in more live matches on the main stage. She definitely has the experience and skills. Well done ladies and thanks for an exciting match.
