GOAT did me like that too! On the AJ 8 Aqua 2015. The midsole had painted on glitter, and the soles crumbed when I wore em. Still got em to remind me NEVER to f@ck with them again!!!

Copped off of Goat as well. My sz 12 box has that same cut thru the size tag but the UPC is fine, no black mark. But these do come in the black box now. I didn’t do insta-ship but they were confirmed and shipped out asap as if i did. Thats not first time its shipped immediately either. There is no such thing as 100% legit sneaker. You have to do your research on where the sneakers are made. Don’t listen to what Nike and everybody on KZbin tells you. I did my own research and found out that their is 700 factories in China that make Nike sneakers. Of those 700 factories Nike supposedly has a contract with 142 of those factories. Surprisingly, they only have an address to only one of those factories. If you don’t have the original sneaker or the first sneaker that came off the assembly line then you are wearing a replica of the original. My bad on the rant. If you got your sneakers from GOAT they probably came from their factory in China. This whole real vs fake debate is crazy. I know a dude that is at every NBA game (floor seats) and NFL game that primarily sales shoes and clothes to celebrities. The dude is selling them high quality copies of sneakers and clothing. Even they can’t tell the difference. The check check app gets fooled all the time. I watched my boy load his credits on the check check app after he bought the lost and founds from Nike and another from Footlocker. The check check app couldn’t authenticate the ones from Nike and they said that the ones that he got from footlocker were fake.

I recently had an issue with Goat. I received a pair of sneakers with one of the shoe strings destroyed no description saying it was a damaged sneaker. They only gave me 2 options a $20 credit in Goat if I kept them or a full credit for what I paid for them with Goat. Here’s the thing right. You order from these secondary market companies and then you let yourself second guess yourself, but if you wait get the shit from the stores or have a valid receipt then these things wouldn’t happen. You make a good point the 85 highs comes with a red box with black swoosh. I have yet to see any images of the packaging in relations to this shoe. So who knows if these are authentic or not.

They did change the box this time and sometimes when you see alterations to the size tag sticker or the QR code or sometimes they remove the size tag sticker with a heat gun to take out the little magnetic strip behind it then they put the size sticker back they do this on early pairs so just in case somehow Nike can’t trace back which backdoor pairs are being sold by a certain retailer this is something that people have told me about backdoored pairs but either way goat shouldn’t ave sent you the box cut like that but maybe it just got ripped by accident by the shipper
