Quick addendum to this video, i actually missed a very important card in the search for an optimal level 3 vanilla: Risebell the Summoner. This was pointed out to me by Glass? in the discord so thanks to them but basically its optimal because it can be summoned off emergency teleport instead of unexpected dai, which means it doesnt conflict with terrortop.

Yes but it can't be used as half of totem bird and is a fire which opens you up to Hiita so it's suboptimal

13:25 - the other reason they didn't go battle phase and attempt to go ZEUS is because Martha locks them into Exosister Monsters so they couldn't summon ZEUS even if you didn't have additional interaction.

not only is Martha an exo lock, it's a FULL TURN lock. That's why they have to play the dumbass extra normal summon lv4 extenders

13:52 even if they are on Speedroid, this is a pretty mediocre play. Pure Speedroid plays dozens of extenders that'll capitalize on all the bait that Terrortop draws, a much safer Imperm is Rubberband Shooter or Cork Shooter. I don't know what deck plays Terrortop where hitting the Terrortop with any kind of disruption is optimal, actually.

In what world is this engine worth it? Just play 3 etelly and 1 psychic whelder/1 tracker. Unlike unexpected dai they dont clash with terror top.I dont see the utility of adding tourguide back to hand when dugg searches all the followup you need on your opponents turn. If your opponent threatens battle with a monster just trigger your goblins in the main phase if he plans to evenly you triggering gabonga in you battle phase wont save you so i literallly dont get what this engine does for you outside having to play a literal vanilla for a worse etelly

In the world where it's really cool and you swap the vanilla out for the e tele one like I said in the pinned comment but also because clearly someone's never resolved scarm to add tour guide before

this is wrong, im pretty sure dugg doesnt function as a 1 card followup unless you have either an xyz on field or another goblin in hand, tour guide to hand is much more effective as a followup option

Having redundancy in your deck isnt bad. Just bc x or y card do a thing it's not bad to have multiple starters that do the same job. Makes your deck more consistent

definitely not convinced this is doing anything more then what goblins were doing before, and you definitely misplayed by attatching your dugg to gabonga, that was just not good at all
