It is true Satan was always attracted by the fear for loss in the heart of Job to try him but hadn't yet realised that the edges around Job's wealth had already been broken by his own fear until the Lord tells Satan that "see all he has is yours" . It is also true that Satan asked the Lord to go and try Job's righteousness and the Lord allowed it because he fore knew that Job was able to hold on his righteousness no matter the trials something the devil never knew or accepted. And what Job could not handle God never permitted Satan to do because he limits him by telling him not to touch his life, this fulfils a verse in corinthians that says " God can't allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bare and that he will always provide a way " So God allows the devil to only try us in the things He has already provided a way out so that we are able to bare it but he himself doesn't tempt anyone. So I can boldly conclude by saying that though it's the devil that planned Job's trials , but the Lord permitted him to try Job's righteousness because we see literally the devil asking out for him from the Lord and the Lord permitting it of course not for destruction but for good since we all see what Job's ending was.

He said: Job would have called on the name of Jesus to send away the devil in his teaching but forgot that even Jesus came in the name of the Father; and in him the Word of God which is the Holy Spirit casted our demons. In the Old Testament, a name was not given in casting out demons or controlling them🙄. This is not truth. People sell another gospel in the guise of mystery or deep interpretations and that’s dangerous.

Now, if a graduate preacher of Christ like you “assumes” without saying what the “Lord@ means in the context, should you be teaching? Apostle( if you’ve seen Jesus), yet lack the basic understanding that the word “Lord” used is actually God, then you need a serious revamp and more teaching by the spirit of God. I don’t go chasing supposed mysteries that edifies nothing but brings unnecessary arguments and claims that have no basis. You can say “he is teaching good” to your betterment, but I do know that that teaching good does nothing! If Job was so punished for his sin of fear, why did God justified him with double blessing at the end? Something is missing here. Is this not an example of fiery trial(1Peter 4:12-13) which will eventually culminate in HIS glory being revealed? This kind of preaching send people away from Christ when faced with the trials of life, as if God has abandoned them. God's word is real and God remains faithful.

Been scrolling through the comments and found that people are not getting this....the first chapters mention Job's temptation which most people seem to be calling a trial...now what i understood from the series and what most people are struggling to get is: 1st. that God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.... So saying a trial from God is an error because why would He test something He already has knowledge about... 2nd. The devils is the tempter not God and the very fact that you're a believer makes you a target of the devil without exception.... 3rd. The later chapters of Job mention that Job lived by rumors of God but found revelation... Therefore, we can safely say that in Job's message, there was a bit of speculation and assumption according to what Job was either brought up into, taught as he grew or saw.... And lastly, the way people criticize means they have found this "sound doctrine" so i fail to understand why you listen to him clealy this is not your first video of Abel Damina so following social media to criticize simply doesn't make sense...

Damina wants to feel important with regards to pulpit business. You can't advocate for God. God's vindication is not in your hand. The question is, who restored Job in Job 42:10? In Job 1:10 whoever it was that made hedge around Job, that same personality saw to Job's destruction and restoration. Damina has veered off and he doesn't care.

Ezek.14.20 - Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. Read the whole chapter and you will that Ezekiel in this chapter even though he was a prophet of God, here he was searching because like all the old testament prophets, he did not know God by revelation as revealed by and in Jesus Christ. David speaking by the Holy Ghost says, “ God has not dealt with us according to our sins and iniquity…” If God reacts then he ceases to be God because it will mean that He was caught by surprise by the sinning of the children of Israel. But God who is rich in mercy loved us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Look unto Jesus Christ who is the express image of the invisible God and He has declared him to us. Whatever Jesus says and does that is what the Father says and do and whatever he does not say or do, the Father does not also. God and His word are one. Any teaching/revelation/ prophecy that contradicts His word obviously is not from God. He can never give new insight or enlightenment that is against His written word (Bible). This is the acid test for any teaching/ revelation. You want people to believe that the Bible didn't say what it says! When the Bible says someone is a person that fear God, is it a bad thing! Job knew that God punishes sins and disobedience to his will and he made sacrifices to atone for the possible sins of his children. Satan told God that God made a hedge around Job. So with the so called fear,God made a hedge around him that he was impenetrable until God removed it to allow Satan to tempt him. Is there any dispute about that plain word of God? Did Elijah not fear Jezebel would kill him? So why did God not allow Jezebel to kill him bcos of his fear?

You read the Bible with wrong lenses because you don't understand the center point of it's content. Scriptures were given to us to study and learn by revelation the true heart of God. So Jesus himself is the Word that became flesh,so the jurisdictions of scriptures are centered in Christ, ie; some of the things that the old prophets said were subject to correction when Christ appeared, Christ is the fullness of the godhead. If Moses said an eye for an eye and then Jesus later corrected him by say love your enemies and pray for them. It means not all things the old prophets wrote were correct

All these confusion is as a result of translations. To get clarity of scriptures you need the Hebrew, Greek, English Bible. There are [seven] words in the Hebrew language for [praise] but one single word for [praise] in English for [praise]. So when you meet the word [praise] in the English Bible which of the [praise] is the Bible talking about in context. There are [four] words in Greek for [love]. Only one single word for [love] in English is love. He study the Hebrew and Greek words used in context of each scripture for the truth of scripture. Do you know the Bible doesn't teach giving to be blessed but giving out of your blessings. We were taught to give and it shall be given unto us of which that scripture is taken out of context.

By the way preacher, God brought those disasters on the wicked and Jesus alluded to it in Luke 17:26-30. In such a manner, the wrath of God will come upon the earth upon the disobedient. It is not the right thing to do sir. Humans were not meant to fear God, God and man were meant to interact dearly. Haven't you read the bible in Genesis how God and Man (Adam) used to communicate friendly, until sin set it, and Adam felt fear and hid from God, Fear is a product of sin, and sin consciousness. Abel Damina needs to study the Bible very well. His exegesis of scripture is mostly problematic. Job's temptation was not because he feared, it was because Satan challenged God's assessments of Job. In Job 1:7, God was the one who brought the proposition of Job's Faithfulness. Eventually, Gods Assessment and judgement was spot on because Job remained faithful. Job's sacrifice for his children was correct because it was something he did year after year and God saw him faithful. Abel Damina's teaching and assumption of 'sinless perfection' is not scriptural.

The author is simply writing a fictional story and has the literary liberty to use the name of a city, count out any number of animals as he pleased, “He owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys.” ( he chose easy odd number of animals 7, 3,5, in the beginning and doubles them at the end, 14,6,10 to show God restored back double blessings to Job. In fiction, the author can exaggerate as he pleases: “He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.” And at the end of his book, he writes “Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters,“ Can the birth of one child replace the death of another?

Job was a believer and God Himself said of Job (in Job 1:8 ) that he was a PERFECT and an UPRIGHT man, one that feareth God, and eschewed evil. How can you preach a sermon that condemns Job?
