Actually that’s far too small to be Atlantis. Plato says Atlantis is is about 24.49 km in diameter. It’s huge. There is one structure called the Richat Structure in Africa that is the same size as Atlantis and seems probable that it really is Atlantis.

I've Been to Malta, it's impressive but it doesn't look any way like Atlantis would to my knowledge. Major ancient history in Malta though! I had a theory that the reason we can't find Atlantis is not just because it sank into the ocean, but that it could actually have gone under another mass of land. Like how California is on a different plate that's pushing against the rest of the country. It's in danger of sliding under. Maybe that's what happened with atlantis. If that's the case though that means we'd never find it.

A big concern I have with the ideas expressed in this video is that the people involved are seemingly making a conclusion regarding what could be at this site without examining the evidence. The video started with the claim that the site could be Atlantis based on Plato’s description of the city. I am happy the video did admit that this description is not really helpful as Plato was merely repeating a story he had heard about the city. The only justification used in this video to connect this site and Atlantis still remains to be Plato’s description. Connecting the site to the biblical city of Tarshish follows the same logic as the Atlantis argument, which is also only based on biblical accounts of the location of the city. The pottery found at the site was dated and found to be far more recent than Tarshish. With this being the only tangible evidence found, it is very hard to argue that this site could be Atlantis or Tarshish. A much more likely explanation is that this is the site of an abandoned city from the time the pottery found was created. I did find it interesting that the idea that Tarshish and Atlantis could be one in the same. The legends of both cities appear to be very similar to each other, but there is no way to know if the story of Atlantis and the story of Tarshish share the same origin.

Once you add Mauritania and the other circular structure in Spain, there are now 3 of these in the same area. Atlantis was the name of the empire of Atlas, meaning there were many cities. The capital was named Atlantis like the empire, however, you're going to find potentially hundreds of cities designed to mirror the capital. The Richat structure in Mauritania fits all the profile specifications for Atlantis the city, these other structures are going to be outposts and minor cities. This one would make perfect sense if you wanted to control the Pillars of Heracles from a capital on the Richat structure, as you would control both sides of the straight.

Also, how can you say "it's just beyond the pillars of Hercules" when you show satelite image that shows it is not, in fact "close" at all. If we look at means of transportation in that time, I find it hard to consider this "close". Richat structure is a more viable proposition if you were to ask me.

Maybe there is a way to know: you said there were circular rivers- in a system of circles with water passageways in between them- what if you dive in the ocean, where you say the tsunami took place, and navigate, by underwater, to any other the inland circles water. It's worth a try.

I can't see indication at the surface level and I'm not sure the satellite image hasn't been enhanced. However, taking a look at the area on Google Earth there are some interesting looking concentric circles near the southern end of the sand bank (or whatever that is). Go in close and you can easily see 3 or 4 of them. Problem is: they are quite small when comparing them against Atlantis (only a few feet between each ring) so no idea what they are. Maybe some very old agricultural something or rather maybe. 36 - 55 -21 N 6 - 24 - 23 W

The eyes of the shara matches platos description better than this site. An it has the mountain range just north of ot that once had flowing rivers on it as plato described. The ring structure different colored rocks an everything as well. An you can see in images where a tsunami or something came across an deposited silt and dirt cutting the water off an destroying the location.

Kind of weird but they did find an underwater city or complex of some sort near Cuba late 90s early 2000s, and so i was watching this old TV show once called.. "In search of" with Leonard nimoy and I guess back in 1968 a doctor and I think his name was Raymond brown but anyways he and his friends went scuba diving near andros islands in the Atlantic ocean and became seperated and he ended up going deep deep under water and found a large pyramid and I guess it was a crystal like structure on the outside sparkly well lit on the inside of it ended up going in and came upon a crystal ball in a bronze structure that was a hand of some sort and retrieved it and when he left the pyramid he felt a presence say to him to never return..plus after and years later weird things happened ,like it magnified some sort of energy when it came in contact with anybody but hey if they found troy and it was a legend anything can be possible with finding Atlantis.

The Eye of the Sahara is probably the best bet we have so far at being the site for the possible Atlantis. I know it's not near the ocean now but thousands of years ago it was alot closer to the water. There are many more things about the location that add up to at least make you wonder if further information should be gathered from looking into the location. Please look into this place. Even if unrelated to Atlantis it seems like such a interesting location that ancient history of man seems very likely to be found there.

No way, but I see where you're coming from. It was an ancient city which probably ran off of free energy of Tartaria or hydro-energy, really interesting site nonetheless in an Ancient African country.

It's in North Africa in the desert. The measurements and descriptions match Plato's description perfectly! There are some very compelling videos on the subject. Where are the mountains to the North Plato described in Spain? This video cherry picks the data that fits while ignoring all points of contradiction.

The earth has seen mile high tsunamis wash over the land and great earthquakes. Not to mention volcanoes. It is amazing anything could still be standing. So more likely there are a great many ancient cities to be discovered that is now covered. Either by earth or water.
