nnightkingj I mean it depends on whose GotY you're talking about. I'm sure some outlet somewhere has done it. I certainly don't consider The Game Awards the only Game of the Year winner by a long shot. After all, Nier Automata didn't win when that came out, and that's Game of the Generation to me.

I think, that the point is in Riku`s words "Sora, you don`t believe that. Iknow, you don`t". Because, during all games, and especially "Birth by sleep", there was a statement about belief. If you want to make something happened, you should believe. So, we can suggest, that if you don`t believe, something will not happen in reality. That`s why Riku said these words in traler. Sora shoudn`t believe in deaths of his friends.

I'm not sure if we already know why vanitas looks like sora but my theory is that the master of masters is sora and the box has his heart in it and the box was already opened and opening it vanitas was basically what came out of it because hes the heartless of sora the box was maybe stopping him from being made into a heartless and the heart maybe brought sora backk to life as a kid and was sent to destiny islands and over time when he became a heartless only a nobody appeared because there was already a heartless of sora that was vanitas it's all very confusing but that's my theory lol sora was reborn hes from the past hes the master of masters I swear to god

Spoiler: Riku is Xehonhert's incarnation. Sora gives into darkness in order to sacrifice himself to save everyone. Riku has to kill Sora thus releasing Ventus's heart and fully resorting it in his body. Riku also has to kill Xehonhert with the help of Kairi and Lea.
