i was out yesterday and got one too(but smallmouth largemouth and stripers) nice man i put up the vid too. that first fish man ya i love that about bass they dont care the size of their prey. after last years spawn i caught a 7 inch largemouth with a 6 inch soft plastic swimbait with a small hook in it. i was using the float and fly method yesterday and i scored a nice largie and a couple nice stripers. the smally was small but it was my first smallmouth out of castaic and the first stripers i got that were not dinks. ps what tag did you use to get so many views. ya thats why im skiddish around even single hooks and pressure on line. esp if they arent barbless, bass are moving up i think the bite will be good for the next few weeks.

hmm i didnt even know that happened and still cant really find news article about it. not sure when it happened. though people die out there all the time. i did see one person die at the lagoon when i was a young kid they used to race drag boats there 1/4 mile races. but this one dude was trying hit a speed record back in day and his boat flipped and he died his nickname was billy the kid back in 86 i think.
