@@ElJuli24 This is a reference to kirk trying to learn the gallop in Some Kind of Monster. He couldn't play it under pressure when James was teaching it to him, so they dumbed down the riff on the recording.

Kirk is a class act guitarist. Even the best of us make mistakes and tbh, I’d rather have this happen at a concert than have a playback stuck in a loop.

@@johnstoner666 this is really really easy. Freakin starts with open strings. What do you think he always uses wah wah for? Do you realize it completely hides mistakes? Like he is human and a lazy one who hasn’t improved with time. The days of Metallica musical precision are decades past unfortunately. They could play but they are rich old farts who probably only play as little as they have to at this point. This isn’t the band I grew up with. They used to win readers polls for best drummer, best guitar player etc. partially bc fans would kinda rig the votes, but Lars wouldn’t win anything now neither would Kirk they can’t fool people that much. Just kinda sad- don’t freak out bros reading this. I just miss the intensity they used to show. I miss less wah. I cant even hear my own mistakes through that crap lol

In Firenze a couple days ago James started Moth by himself 4 meters too early. He went on the mic and said to himself "count to 8, not 4. You're in a professional band James" and we just died laughing.

It's no secret that Kirk Hammett is not the best guitar player out there. However, it's also no secret that Metallica has written some of the best guitar riffs the world has ever seen. The thing I like about Kurt is he delivers when he needs to.

It's really shocking how people react seriously on these vids. I mean it's not even mistake anymore after playing the song for about billions of times. These guys are one of the successful entertainers in the history of metal. They are up on the stage to entertain us. When this happened, either that or I could have sworn there was another point during the show where he started playing a riff from I think 🤔 the song sweet home Alabama where i literally thought this or that was on purpose for a joke like to be funny like haha funny. It wasn't till the next day or so that I had seen or heard a video where they were saying he literally did get distracted that I realized he wasn't joking. He was funny right after though the way he responded.
