Thanks for sharing your video , thorough enjoyed . Loving your Lightning Truck , the colour is very pleasant. I think your on the ball dude , the Lightning appears to be the best electric truck out there for family use and possibly overall the best ev truck too. It has so many very useful practical features . To name just a few , automatic handbrake application when leaving the vehicle. Auto turn on lights when approaching the vehicle. Zoned external lights. Powered frunk and tailgate. Automatic park assist and reverse emergency brake assist. A tonne of road safety extras , including blue cruise autopilot. The list goes on and on. Its truly hard to find anything negative. I do agree with you though , the front trunk lid seems very slow to open. Also i wonder if you approach the truck carrying two bags , how do you open the frunk without putting the bags down. ? Would be cool if was a sensor that could activate with your foot to open the frunk. At 282 miles range cruising at 70mph for the Lariat , thats not bad at all.

Rented a Lightning to tow a travel trailer to Sandbanks on Lake Ontario. Amazing truck! We charged up fully at each campground overnight!

Brian, you have a whole lotta cute in the cab of that cool pickup! Crikey, that price however! No wonder Bennie was barking 😮 I saw some Lightning owners’ content from eastern US Connecticut/NY area yesterday discussing dealers having trouble selling the Lightning now as their inventories pile up. The truck is excellent but price is certainly an issue with bank rates etc.

Trucks are expensive! The closest F150 with a comparably equipped gas engine (3.5l PowerBoost Hybrid) I priced on Ford Canada's website at 84,610 Canadian. With gas at $2/litre it comes a lot closer. Now to find a Turo or dealer who rents one and see if it can make B.C. Wine country from Vancouver (400km over the Coquihalla) on a charge. Thanks for the update!

If you ever have to replace the battery module it will cost $35000 plus labor. I don’t think Ford makes much money off the lower trims.

Yea I'm waiting on the XLT EXT to lower the price, like to drive back and forth to work. I also like the back up power in case of a power outage.

I like what Ford has done but they need to change the vertical infotainment system to landscape / horizontal. The current positioning reduces the size of AirPlay etc.

I love everything about the vehicle except for the price and the size. It is too big for the roads and parking stalls where I live. I wish Ford would come out with a Ranger version.

Has the Highlander for 7 years. Absolutely love our I5 but with a horse now, might have to look into a truck one day and it might as well be a Lightning. Works so well for everyday driving as long as you’re not driving downtown and looking for tight parking spaces.
