So I do igcse 0580 extended papers and other subjects which some were already done it is not the 9 - 1 option for any neither gcse it is cie on the results certificate that you receive for instance if the grade boundaries for an a star is just 80 percent as an actual percentage would you get just the symbol for an a* and the percentage stays 80 percent ( I using these numbers as an example ) or would they just increase the percentage to 90 percentage on the dot this can be for any subject becuase in past years at my school people did really well and came top our country and even broke an a level maths world record was that because of the threshold becuase we knew the actual percentage

@@GingerMathematician Still optimistic though as this year's paper 2 was the best paper 2 I have ever done, I memorized the questions and later confirmed it with my Maths teacher that majority of my answers were correct. Paper 4 was the hardest but not the worst, but could've been better...

Hey ginger just a question one of the questions on maths paper 2 a question said find rate of r percentage at the end of 8 years and i used the method for compound interest and it asked me for simple interest. It was worth 3 marks so do you think i can get a mark for that, thank you.
