Just sharing my thoughts living in Mumbai I understand that the humidity and high cost of living in Mumbai can be challenging, humidity jada hai without AC nahe chale ga.. but there are many beautiful places to live in the northern states, and the weather is much more pleasant. Pune is also a great option with a nice climate. Moreover, you can find similar society and housing structures in other North Indian states. i understand you are considering the well-being of your wife and trying to find a place where she can easily adjust and socialize with other families. if you have family and friends in Mumbai then that fine.. we understand it's also important to consider the cost of living and the availability of opportunities If you are not working in Mumbai, it's wise to explore other affordable locations to move to.
