i just turned 30 on the 1st and something i wish i would've done in my early 20s is started a retirement account as well. i literally didn't start until 29. i wish that type of stuff was taught in school and more in our black community, but i don't mind being the one learning and sharing the knowledge with my kids

THIS👏🏾👏🏾!! The most financially literacy I was taught in school was how to fill out a check. But yes, our kids need this knowledge and I’m glad you atleast started now, imagine the ones that are 40+ and still didn’t start.
